Cons:I never actually got the car. I went to pick it up and they tried to add in over 400 dollars in fees. They wanted to charge me about 700 dollars for one weeks rental. I will not be using Kayak again or Dollar. Kayak gave me a 250 dollar quote. It was obviously way off.

Pros:The cheapest rate I could find. Easy pick up and drop off.
Cons:Had a car that was 3-5 years old. Audio/navigation system was in some Asian language and could not be used. Backup camera didn't work.

Pros:The agent switched me from a 5 day rental to a weekly rate because it saved me money. Additionally Dollar did not add an extra charge because I was dropping the car at another airport 500 miles away. Dollar saved me $450 compared to what Hertz was charging me. Car was in excellent condition.

Pros:I was very impressed with the condition of the car, how it drove, the cleanliness and easy drop off. They also have an unlimited use day rate for EZ pass which was ideal since I was driving from DC to NYC.
Cons:The pickup location in the DC area was something to be desired. It was cold, windy and raining and no one seemed to be working although there were plenty of employees wandering around the lot. I ended up waiting in a bus line to the airport unknowingly for 15 minutes, thinking it was the line to pick up your car. I finally asked another patron what was going on and they said they were waiting on a bus and were going to miss their flight (the shuttle bus was just parked and not moving for this whole time.) I had to walk out in the rain and flag someone down to ask where to go to pick up my car. They pointed at a fence and said "go over there." When I went "over there", two other attendants were parking cars and avoiding eye contact with me. Finally I asked who I should speak to about picking up my car and they pointed to a woman in a booth a few yards away. I then walked over to her booth and asked the woman for some information about how to pick up my car and she just pointed at some cars and said take one. So I walk back "over there" to the fence area and just take the first car available. I pull out of a really tight spot and make my way back to the woman in the booth who checks my car over. I ask if I have the EZ pass I paid for and she said yes. After driving from DC to NYC and through many, many tolls, I noticed the toll screens were always blank. When I dropped my car off in NYC I asked them if was normal and they told me I hadn't used my EZ pass correctly. I had to then go into the office and tell the customer service representative that the DC pick area attendees neglected to help me do anything at all and did not provide any instructions on how to use their version of EZ pass which was called something else entirely. I was really frustrated with the whole experience and hope I don't receive any traffic violation tickets. This whole pick up experience was really ridiculous.

Pros:Staff were very helpful, price was great, pick-up/drop-off was straightforward. They didn't have the car we had reserved so we were given an upgrade for free.
Cons:Called ahead to let them know we would be 1-2 hours late with drop-off for which we were charged an entire day. Not a big deal but pro-rating would be more reasonable I think.
