Cons:The manager of the U Save was extremely rude and unprofessional. Other staff were more reasonable, but were unable to help since he was their boss. Additionally, a lot of hidden fees, but the time you buy their liability insurance (for PR) and the auto toll pass (which is necessary if you leave San Juan) the car rental was double the price quoted. Additionally, it took my over 1.5 hour to get a car and go.companies themselves. Furthermore, the car rental company was upset that I had booked through Kayak and not directly through them- the fact was thrown in my face as an accusation. Terrible experience all around.
Pros:The check in and check out process was quick and efficient. The car, a Hyundai I10 was perfect for our needs and was in good condition. It is a small vehicle, but for the two of us it served our needs well, including taking friends to the airport and to area restaurants. I was especially appreciative of the service needed when, forgetting to turn off the headlights one rainy day, a team of technicians arrived within a half-hour to jump start the dead battery the next morning. Very satisfied!

Cons:They were rude and unapologetic. They gave our car away because our flight was delayed and would not assist in securing a different vehicle. This is our second, and DEFINITELY, last experience with this company. Last time they charged nearly $200 more than promised
Slow service and a scam. First of all, to get here you have to take the usual airport shuttle to the rental car shuttle, then walk through there, and wait outside for another shuttle. I landed at 11pm and did not leave the center until after 1:00 a.m. and there were only three sets of people in front. The front desk woman was RIDICULOUSLY slow. She is struggling to enter the information even though she's been using the same system all day. Then they have a policy they never stated in the reservation, if you take their insurance it's only a $250 deposit, however if you want to use your insurance it has a certain limit, the deposit is TWO THOUSAND dollars yes $2,000.00 and they don't take Amex. Never again.
Staff at as very friendly and nice. Car was a good car.
