Pros:Nothing - this is a scam business and ultimately didn't go through with the rental because the business was illegitmate.
Cons:The company tried to force us to pay rental insurance - they said it was illegal not to. I have never had a problem doing this anywhere else and did not when I left and went to thrifty instead. It's a complete scam. They asked to see my insurance and when I did, they said it still wasn't good enough and I'd owe over $200. When I asked to see their terms, they could provide no documentation, saying I only could see the terms if I paid. This business is a complete scam and should be litigated and removed from sites like Kayak.
Pros:Drop off was super easy. Pulled up, dropped off the keys, signed a few papers.
Cons:Ended up waiting an hour after I got to the place to pick up the car. They let 3 other people in front of me. First person, I understood because even though they weren't in line, they were technically there before me, but the other two was ridiculous. Was standing there for over an hour, finally get to the counter and after an hour, and after explaining multiple times throughout that time that I already have the car reserved, they give me paperwork to start filling out. I also ended up getting charged almost a $100 literally right as I was about to leave. They made me sign a bunch of document saying that I understood that their rental insurance was optional (I was not told this. Instead, they just said they're going to charge me, but at this point, I was just trying to keep myself calm and stop myself from cursing them out, so I just wanted out of there) Would never do business with these people ever again.
Cons:The car was over an hour late being prepared and they kept stating that it would be only "five more minutes" - they then served every (male) customer who came in after us. When we brought up the issue that we were on a schedule and asked for a refund to compensate for the amount of time we paid for they refused and then stated it was due to issues with our booking and we needed to "upgrade"- even though it was clearly stated in the reservations that we had asked for an automatic and not a manual. Then, in spite of all of this. While we waited in the parking lot for our pick up, the attendants serviced yet another group of men that showed up. The car was also empty of gas (instead of a quarter tank full as in the rental agreement) - this was again an issue that they "had no power to reimburse us on" and that we "should be happy because of the 'good deal'" we were getting on the price and that "if we expected better we should have gone somewhere else." Avoid at all costs

Cons:Car selected was a VW Beetle convertible or similar. Confirmation from Car Trawler listed selected car as Suzuki Jimny. This was in no way a similar car to the selected convertible. Numerous e-mail to both Kayak and Car Trawler were not responded to. On arrival at Airport Green Motion were unable to supply the vehicle requested. No fault of Green Motion they supplied vehicle requested by Car Trawler. I will not be using Kayak or Car Trawler for any future holiday car hire. Very disappointed.

Cons:This is a a hire I had to cancel at the pick-up desk along with several people alongside me which nearly ruined all my families New Year's plans. I had read the statement on several emails as to what documentation was required for hire & was satisfied that I had covered criteria. However when I was told I had to produce a passport I was guided to about 5 pages down on an extra link within the agreement. This page even stipulates you must have proof of National Insurance with you.Two people next to me had passports, & even this was not being excepted without bank statements to support. This means I am not even due any refund. I also noticed only just before arriving that the excess on the vehicle was £1205 which is £5 over my credit card limit which means even though I had covered myself with 3rd party cover I would have been forced to reduce the excess with green motion at a rate of £26pd which on a 6 day rental would have been £156.
Pros:The car was great (Kia Sportage) and the rental cheap. Pick up and return fast.
Cons:Still waiting for the £400 deposit to get back on my card. Much faster with Enterprise.
Pros:The car and service was super. The whole booking process was easy and I was pleased to be using a car with more Eco credentials.
Cons:The person using the car before me was late back with it so it was not cleaned ready for me to use, but this wasn't a major problem.

Pros:We were running incredibly late for our flight and arrived at the car hire place to drop the car back 30 minutes before our flight. Green Motion were amazing and checked the car really quickly and got us to the airport as quickly as they possibly could - we made our flight with minutes to spare! The car was perfect for our week in Italy and we can't fault it. Would definitely recommend.
