the four hour maintenance delay was the main issue
Bad service in Casablanca airport and airplane
Could not hear boarding group numbers
Business class trip toronto to heathrow was best ever. Boeing 777.
3hour delay due to maintenance. This issue should of been caught prior to boarding to avoid us sitting on the runway for 2 hours to resolve.
NA
it was very warm on the flight making for an uncomfortable three hours.
Chicken was tough
Very helpful
For no apparent reason the flight took off 45 minutes late. We had booked the first class round trip ticket but we're in premium economy and the airline wouldn't budge. American airlines has very poor customer service. They did not expedite transfer of our bags and they had to hold the plane for us in Phoenix for our final destination to Portland for 14 people. We ran and ran and ran and it was quite difficult.
So for so good
Customers are treated like cattle
We surprised with the amount of leg room we had in Basic. We splurged elsewhere on our trip so had the cheapest tickets on the plane (no window even!). The flight crew were great. Despite a morning flight I had a beverage and the attendant let me use a freebie that another passenger wasn’t using (a double at that). The in-flight entertainment was great. Personally I really enjoyed the flight status UI and the information it provided. Best of all - on time and no lost luggage!
On time departure and early arrival. Only problem was DCA - jet bridge didn’t work and maintenance has to come out and restart it. But that is DCA’s fault not AA’s.
I wish the airline would've had a replacement tire for the one back in the initial steps of my trip. Had to change airlines, and couldn't wait another day (quarterly work gathering). Had to reenter through security twice and a bag search along the way, and run to a connecting final flight. I was supposed to leave at 1 pm arrive at 5pm, it is now 145am as I arrive at my hotel. Yuck.
Check in was easy.
The flight was delayed cause they had to fuel after we had already boarded.
Five hours on a 737 is a long time. The oasis seats are ok for a few hours but come hour four my back was on fire. I didn’t need a full meal included but the buy on board was limited to a meat and cheese tray or chips.
Quick flight, on time.
Flight was cancelled. Had to rebook to Denver.
paid for cabin extra yet still was in boarding group 5. after first beverage serving, attendant failed to offer me the snack, and she didn't return over the next 2 hours. She was not very pleasant.
flight was delayed 35 min so almost missed connection in phx
Entertainment could have been easier to use with broader selection
Your airline needs to not lie. My flight was canceled due to weather. Then when it’s changed and booked to a different time and way. They cancel again at my second layover. They announced that it was due to “insufficient crew”. To have get in line and on the phone with customer service threatening us that “we will not get refunds”. Once I change my final destination 2 times I was told your luggage will be on the plane as well. To then here the boarding announcement say “there are limited seats due to people and luggage ratio”. To finally land after being at the airports a total of 17 hours. And be told they have no idea where our luggage is. Not just mine but seemed to be all the passengers. We get in line for hours and filed our claims to be told it could take 1 to 2 days before I get my luggage. This is unacceptable for an airline as big as American Airlines. And I want some sort of reimbursement for this. This was all human error and responsibilities.
Delayed overnight to a totally unreasonable 6 am
The flight operated on time and the captain was informative. I received no special recognition as an American Airlines Executive Platinum member.
Check-in at the Buenos Airport EZE was confusing and chaotic. In addition, the lines were long and made worse by lines at passport control, security, and boarding. The American Airlines lounge was crowded with insufficient seating. I received no special recognition on Flight 900 as an American Airlines Executive Platinum member. The food was mediocre. The captain made no informative announcements from the beginning to the end of the flight. Business Class travelers deserve better service and more personal attention.
My bag was lost
Switching carriers is problematical. Different check in sytem do not jibe well
Professional staff, easy ride.
On board American Airlines flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x36x23cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the American Airlines assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
