The worst experience is the online checking before hand: unclear, and hard to call to clarify, waiting more than 30 minutes on hold and I gave up! The checking line @ LAX airport was sooooooooooo long 3 hrs before boarding already! Luckily I have gold card from UA , the staff helped me checking in quickly ,skipping the long line. All the staff at the counter are friendly and helpful, they told me I needed to use Taiwan passport to check into the CDC system for Covid-19 with iPhone, otherwise the system won’t accept….. that’s why I didn’t complete online checking. Selecting English and using Taiwan passport info may speed up the calling process( I guess). It was a full loaded flight, but the flight attendants are friendly and helpful, appreciated their professionalism! Even after arrival, there was a long line for SIM card in Taiwan taoyuan airport, that’s a different story for CDC…took hrs to get into the checking in point, from there on , it was a breeze……

The crew spoke Chinese to every Asian person. I even did not understand anything. So rude. If they don't know passengers’s nationality, they have to speak a common language in English. They lost my luggage. I didn't have it now. I don't know where is my luggage. They lost it. So terrible airline. I will never use it again.

Booked this by accident, when I missed my Peach Air flight from KIX to TPE that morning. And am I glad I missed it. Eva has to be one of the best airlines I’ve ever been on. It was my first official impression of the Taiwan, and it set the bar high.
Pros: Flight cancelled

Cons: I did not take the flight. The airline changed the scheduled flight. I reached out to JustFly who booked the flight and they said they would rebook a new flight for me but I have yet to receive any notice that my flight was changed.
Cons: I did not fly out that night due to the covid testing needed. We bought the ticket November 11 it did not say we needed to get tested before flying When we went to check in there was a long line because a lot of people that was flying out did not know also about getting tested before flying Eva employees said that this protocol started December 1st if that’s the case why didn’t they email travelers that bought tickets before December 1st And let them know that covid19 test needed. Also at check in we were inline for 2 hours just to let us know we couldn’t fly out they should have a Monitor saying “ ATTENTION PASSENGERS IF YOU DON’T HAVE COVID-19 TEST RESULTS IN HAND YOU CANNOT A BOARD.” So that people didn’t half to stay in line for so long.
Pros: Crews were attentive to elders.
Cons: Food is mediocre.
Pros: The crew did a great job making sure everyone was safe and comfortable.
Cons: Be friendlier for pets flying in the cargo hold. Reducing the capacity from 20 to 5 per flight and regularly increasing the fees is not helpful at all.
Cons: Everything was excellent. Left Bangkok on time and arrived slightly early but that’s good. Food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly

Pros: The crew is okay but they seem to be always in a hurry that they do not notice us when we ask for somerhing like water or anything to drink.
Cons: We noticed that we felt hungry, the meal served was not enough. The snack was not served and we had to ask for something to fill our tummy.

Cons: This is not related to the flight itself, but EVA could do a better job of communicating useful information on its website. Because of covid 19, Taiwan recently banned foreigners from entering Taiwan. I was concerned that this might affect my travel plans since I needed to change planes in Taipei. A clarification of this policy on EVA's website would have been VERY helpful, especially since their phone lines were completely overwhelmed.
