Picked our seats when we purchased this flight (2 seats alone on the right) but were assigned two middle seats in the middle row at the gate. Very disappointing for a 10 hour+ flight, and what is the point of picking and paying for seats ahead of time when they just reassign us?

nice touch with the presentation of a mooncake as part of the meal for the Mooncake Festival, or Mid-Autumn Festiva on my flight. Was a really pleasant and heartwarming surprise. Thank you!
