I guess the padding gets worn down from all the passenger travel an that's understandable but for passengers with 13-15 hr trips, sleeping isn't an option really and the seats are just not soft enough. Perhaps a nominal $100 upgrade fee when seats are empty in business class? I'm assuming the reason business was empty is it's just too expensive? Maybe a price adjustment is in order rather than letting those seats sit empty? Overall, the flight was a pleasant experience. The seat situation was just a blemish on the trip. I will continue to use Philippine Airlines though probably in the future. Thank you."

Now I do have one leg left, my tip home...I’m hoping that this one will be the overall best experience for my AirAsia. If AsiAsia are going to keep to this 7kg hardline they really need to do it across all airports and do it during the document check so the number of queues costumers are subjected to are minimized. I did purchase extra weight when purchasing the ticket however that weight MUST be in checked bags only. No margin here for discussion. Perhaps HotSeat passengers are less scrutinized??? This all may be just some transitional pains here and other airlines may follow the same model but in my 200+ flights on Nok Air this has NEVER happened. In fact, they (Nok) have NEVER weighed my carry on bag. Such a shame as the rest of the flight experience was above average. This hardline approach will be an issue if they continue until they beat their customers into taking or leaving it in my opinion. First AirAsia flight for me so the vets reading this will be smiling quietly to themselves ;-)"

Somehow our orders were lost and we got the 'default' meal on all flights which was sweet and sour chicken meatballs which was almost as awful as it sounds. We heard the same thing happen to the lady in the seat behind us. Staff pretty much ignored our complaint. There's also a weird process with check in where you get processed into a small lounge Pre flight with no food or shops, there doesn't appear to be a reason for this other than making you sit somewhere cramped and uncomfortable for an hour before your 9 hour flight."

From this airline They have some inside scam going on with their employees STAY AWAY. Don’t become a victim like I did

Then the new line only had one agent working all of the people who needed to pay for their bags. When we got to the front, we were asked to pay the bag fee with a credit card and the processing fee in cash. Since we were only connecting in Singapore, of course we did not have cash. She could not process the charge, walked us over to a new desk and a new line where they processed the bag charge without the cash fee (how this wasn't done initially, I have no idea) and finally, we were finished with the check in process an hour later."

Pros: "After dozens of flights finally left and arrived on time. Actually had a jetway at manila too! Was seated in premium seats row 2 ...what a difference cimpared with the crapoy cramped rows in the back!"
Cons: "Boarding was a fiasco, no zones called. Wheelchairs and children were ignored and were treated no different. Flight sttendants never smiled and just were going thru the motions..very disappointing Cebu"

Cons: "Unforeseen luggage charges that were way too expensive. Would not have flown the airline had I realized they charged for luggage on international flights. The charge was about $150, for the same luggage I brought with me for free on two prior international flights that were part of the same trip, on much better airlines for about the same ticket price. I could have tolerated a charge of $50, but I found $150 to be outrageous. Seats were narrow, legs hit the back of the seat in front. No need for such a configuration, since the flight was only 1/3 full. I won't fly Cebu Pacific again. Congratulations, you lost my business."

It makes you realize just how little they value you as a customer, you’re just a way to make extra money. A one hour flight on Thai Smile and I got more leg room, water, a sandwich and a desert."

Cons: "They charged me a high fee to check bags for myself and my wife. After all that, my bag did not even arrive in Darwin. No compensation for the large inconvenience. They won't even give you a complementary glass of water on the flight, customers are just like cattle to be ferried from one spot to another with little concern for comfort."

Cons: "Checkin at the SIN airport is dysfunctional. Especially for the hub city of Singapore. Go various places and to pay for a bag the only had one person at the service desk. There was a long line of people going to various places with various issues and they only staffed the service desk with one person. Consitently that person has always been rude and non emotional. JetStar either needs to replace those staff are double if not triple the help at the service desk."

Cons: "Their 7kg TOTAL allowance for bags is RIDICULOUS. Only airline I have traveled with that enforces this so unfairly on a flight that wasn't even as low cost as they advertised. Not even the cheapest european airlines like Ryanair or the asian ones like Airasia become so pushy on this. I was forced to pay $40 for a carry on bag because of an annoying security officer who didn't even worked for Jetstar while I was going through security. What's the security risk there? On top of that to my surprise I saw people on my flight carrying 2 or more bags with evident overweight according to this unfair policy. So the rule is random and note applied evenly. Be careful if flying with them. Besides, the aircraft was cheap, uncomfortable and unpleasant."

Cons: "You must pay attention on what kind of ticket you bought, because some kinds have no baggage included to drop, so you must pay extra money to be allowed to do so (and it's really expensive if you do it last hour at the counter)."
Cons: "I tried to book luggage online but it didn't let me do it. I ended up having to shelve out more money at the airport. It is hilarious that the luggage cost more than the airline tickets. The airline staff at the counter laughed and asked me why didn't I do it online? Well I tried and I kept on crashing on their website."

The seats were super small and uncomfortable, no drinks were served, not even water was served."

My girlfriend was not able to join me because of this unreasonable request. I offered to send copy of card with passport but they would not help. I have put a dispute with credit card as they would not let her on plane."

Even after paying all that money to be covered in case of cancellation, they didn't allow me to cancel the flight. Therefore, the flight was poor because I wasn't on it. Bangkok would have been nice..."
