Delayed flights!!!!! Had to rent a car from JFK and drive home to Syracuse $225! Have to be to work at 5am Monday NOT HAPPY
It is just a normal flight. Short flight. The Aircraft was bit older and was very shaky.

We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

I did purchase extra weight when purchasing the ticket however that weight MUST be in checked bags only. No margin here for discussion. Perhaps HotSeat passengers are less scrutinized??? This all may be just some transitional pains here and other airlines may follow the same model but in my 200+ flights on Nok Air this has NEVER happened. In fact, they (Nok) have NEVER weighed my carry on bag. Such a shame as the rest of the flight experience was above average. This hardline approach will be an issue if they continue until they beat their customers into taking or leaving it in my opinion. First AirAsia flight for me so the vets reading this will be smiling quietly to themselves ;-)"

We were told to check in online and add baggage at least two days before flying to avoid excessive baggage fees. So we paid them the first time, no problem. But AirAsias website is clearly coded by bricks with fingers. Because 6,5,4, and 3 days prior, it says such service is unavailable. Okay, we’ll do it at the airport then, it’ll be nice and easy just like at Changi. Only at this crappy subpar excuse for an airport, they live by no rules and want to charge $300USD - more than double what was charged at Changi - for two 20kg bags. 20kg, which my boarding pass and my booking both say we are entitled to, is suddenly 5kg in excess, so they want to screw your American wallet hard, long, and good because even if you had a good time, chances are you will never pass through the half baked gas station that is Langkawi again. Oh yeah and don’t bother paying for the WiFi - they get you good there too - 10mb which is basically a couple jpegs but you won’t get squat anyway. Literally nothing, and then suddenly your puny 10mb has disappeared, along with your money and what’s left of AirAsias credibility."

All in all a decent flight for around these parts I guess...I mean at least the thing wasn't brush painted with house paint...been there before."

The seats were comfortable in economy for me, but unfortunately my Husband being a larger tall man was cramped and didn’t have a lot of room to move."

We waited in line to check the bag, found out that since we hadn't paid for it ahead of time, we could get the bag checked but would need to go stand in a new line to pay for it and could not have the bag tag until this was done. Then the new line only had one agent working all of the people who needed to pay for their bags. When we got to the front, we were asked to pay the bag fee with a credit card and the processing fee in cash. Since we were only connecting in Singapore, of course we did not have cash. She could not process the charge, walked us over to a new desk and a new line where they processed the bag charge without the cash fee (how this wasn't done initially, I have no idea) and finally, we were finished with the check in process an hour later."

For some reason when I was paying they could not take for the full amount on my CC and so I had to go change money as $8 had to be paid cash (very strange). The flight was very uncomfortable. I could go into detail but now I’m just ranting. Not happy. Won’t be doing that again."

Cons: "Checkin as usual was understaff and slow....agent refused to enter our getgo numbers or change our seat assgnment as had been done in the past. Refused to orint boarding pass because i had on my phone....i dislike this and want paper backup! Speaker system for gate announcements at term 3 is the worst! Boarding is always bad but now a new system to read tickets is worse than ever! My knees touch the seat in front it is so crammed...at least short one hour of discomfort."

Then always late and they blame late arrival of aircraft and then blame the traffic at the airport..it gets so old!! Two hour delay today....really cebu must have the worst on time arrivals of any airline!!??? And what happen to boarding special needs first...the gate agents must be idiots they started taking everyone thru both lines...the wheel chair and elderly and children were rammed in with the shoving hoards because they processed both at the same time..it was a fiasco as usual. What happen to board by rows?? I realize late departure but this in no way helped speed ghe plane on its way...uuugggh"

Cons: "If I had to be picking it must be exiting the plane according to the rows for back and front exiting the plane. Almost half of the back rows was still trying to exit in the front and not at the back exit. Overall great!"

Cons: "My flight reservation couldn’t be found when I tried to check in online so I have to buy another ticket the day of for $400. When I got to the check in counter it turns out I already had a ticket. Kayak and Cebu were very unhelpful."
Pros: "After dozens of flights finally left and arrived on time. Actually had a jetway at manila too! Was seated in premium seats row 2 ...what a difference cimpared with the crapoy cramped rows in the back!"
Cons: "Boarding was a fiasco, no zones called. Wheelchairs and children were ignored and were treated no different. Flight sttendants never smiled and just were going thru the motions..very disappointing Cebu"

No display in terminal where to check in on an International Flight. Charged us to check one bag each and would not allow us to carry it on although the same bags were allowed as carry on from NGO-MNL Were told by one person we could checkin for our flight, told were we’re at wrong counter and international counter was not open yet. My checked bag was ripped open somewhere in the process of being transported!! I don’t think I will fly this carrier ever again!"
Cons: "I was placed in a middle seat between a family, even though there was was 5 empty rows of seats. Thought that was annoying, but I moved to my own row and was happy."

Cons: "Delayed 4 hours, waiting in an overcrowded space with no aircon (and it's a tropical country). They kept on saying to wait for next announcement (but no screens, just a broken voice). Announcement were vague and couldn't understand when the flight was supposed to depart."

Pros: "Clean aircraft and friendly staff. I wasn't expecting entertainment and didn't order a meal hence the 1 star. No complaints about the flight and I've flown several times with them and always been satisfied."

Just sit, shut up and wait until they think the time is right to start boarding, usually an hour after scheduled department time (at least on this trip in both directions). Your ground staff is a total disaster, no matter how much your flight attendants will smile during the flight, they can't compensate for your pre-boarding mess."
