Overall, my experience with EVA Air was mixed. The highlight was that the airline clearly tried to provide a premium dining experience by offering the Michelin-starred Kanpai Classic beef yakiniku rice. However, in the limited space of an economy-class cabin, this meal felt overly oily and not very practical to eat. The sauce and grease made it easy to get one’s hands or tray table dirty, and after the meal many passengers may need to go to the lavatory simply to wash their hands. While the food itself may be high quality, the presentation and practicality did not seem well suited to an in-flight environment. Another disappointing part was the paid Wi-Fi service. I paid for the internet package, but the service did not work properly. What made the experience more frustrating was that passengers then had to spend additional time requesting a refund, and the refund process itself was slow and inconvenient. For an international airline, I think a malfunctioning paid service should be handled more efficiently. As for the seat, I feel EVA Air’s economy-class seats may be more comfortable for Asian passengers or people with smaller body frames, but they may not be as comfortable for taller or larger Western passengers on long-haul flights. The overall cabin environment also varied during the flight. Some passengers were not very mindful of noise, cleanliness, or shared cabin etiquette, which affected the comfort of the journey. I believe clearer reminders from the airline regarding cabin manners and hygiene could help improve the overall passenger experience. In short, EVA Air has some strong points, especially in trying to offer a premium Taiwanese-style service, but there are also areas that need improvement: more practical in-flight meals, a more reliable paid Wi-Fi system, faster refund handling, and better cabin management during long-haul flights.

Eva air was fine - Trip.com via KAYAK sold my family access to a “VIP” lounge fo a layover in Taipei… i’m please look at my pictures. It was a scam, Trip.com knows it and they are perpetrating a fraud through your web site.
Service was great didn't leave on time was not good
I always preferred EVA air every time I visit Philippines. It’s just this time that I have to be very early to make sure that I don’t miss my flight due to TSA problem. There’s only one choice of food serve which you use to have 2 on our flight from Taiwan to Philippines . Otherwise I will still use EVA air in my future flight.
Excess baggage fees are outrageous ($250 per bag). Flight crew and planes are nice.
The EVA air staff at Narita did a terrible job with signage and communication. Despite getting to the airport hours before, they had me queue in line and did not communicate that passengers for Kaohsiung need to step out of line to go to a different line. If you put the flight number at the front of the line, people will think that’s their line. If your staff walk silently down the line with a sign of the flight number, how are we supposed to know you want us to follow unless you speak or write that? I even asked the staff with this sign when we could check our bags and they assumed I was on the later flight to Taipei. Later, Wl only 30 minutes remaining I called for help, and the staff looked at me like I was in the wrong. I had to rush through security and customs and had no time to eat or buy a gift. I’m deeply disappointed in the way they handled it, and it caused unnecessary stress on my vacation.
Plane is new and I was upgraded to first class so all was great.
Flight was smooth no complaint. Except maybe better food choice for the long flight…

We never got on the flight. It was delayed and we got moved to another flight. It was stressful and no communication involved!!!

You guys need to check with your sub contractors. I had a confirmation email from airfare I don’t know then when I reach at the airport the check in offer did not see the ticket in the system. I had to issue another ticket at double the normal rate because I had to travel on the same day.

If you fly more often with Oman on the same route, you will realize the offered food is always the same. Quality of food is good, however, it is getting boring to know there is a soup or salad with goat cheese as starten and maincourse there is lamb, fish or vegetarian pasta. Pasta is always nice.
Man to Muscat the staff were poor. Missed bringing drinks to me & ran out of Beer. I didn't get a drink. Muscat to BKK staff excellent, food ok, and I was offered a drink.
The whole trip was well organised, and pleasantly executed. As with most Qatar Airways flights the staff were particularly attentive and supportive. The Q Suite was the "icing on the cake".
Omar airways mishandled my baggage, it took me 2 weeks to get my baggage back. It's been delivered to someone else.
Very poor service, will never travel through saudia airline also worst experience at jeddah airport, all the people act like very racist even we belong from a same religion but they don't have any humanity. Very big language barrier no one speak proper English so they don't understand us very poor service. I was traveling with family and with infant they give us very hard time. No one like to answer a question and there attitude is extremely no welcoming. Not recommended specifically jeddah airport and their services and staff. Will never take layover or any flight through jeddah. Thank you

It’s very tiring journey with only 3 seats in a row and not good for family of four. Online checkin don’t work and unable to select the seats while going.
Economy seats are better than most other international airlines. Crew is nice, food is halal and pretty good. Seatback tv selection is ok, not great. Wifi is poor and crazy expensive, "free" messaging lasts 15 minutes and capped at 3mb, full flight plans are $50 USD and still very tightly data capped.

The seats’ reclined like premium economy seats, ie, not much.. but leg space was a lot l, so it did not feel cramped. Crew was very friendly and helpful.
my screen did not work properly. I couldn't watch any movies nor the flight information. I can see the flight info on the remote only. the toilet is very small and tight actually it is the smallest toilet I've ever seen in a business class. ( I'm not a big body person) in Jeda airport the first bus broke down so we transferred to a second bus and it took a long time to move. the seat spacing was good in 2 by 2 configuration. the food and the service was OK for a short flight.
The menu options in business class were few and the crew kept running out of the desired options! So what seemed like 4 options for meals turned out to be just one option! The entertainment system had very few movie selections for Hollywood and Bollywood movies. The audio in the headphones was poor as it was difficult to follow the dialogues; my fellow travelers had similar complaints.
Much better than our first flight. Perhaps healthier food options and more food.
Awful , hidden charges for the luggage was a very awful thing, very much a scam , booking the flight thinking the luggage was included was definitely a scam , then the girl that was taking my luggage Ayrlease the airport was an absolute awful , telling me if I don’t have money to take my luggage with me I can just throw it away , how professional, NEVER AGAIN .

It was OK as the seat which we paid for doesn’t have any window. We paid $120 for 3 seats but it’s for nothing. Crew could not help. None of the ports worked so all our phones went dry
A380 First Class Apartments were phenomenal. Comfortable bed and matress cover, superior vegetarian five course meal, shower, small business lounge and plenty of exercise walking around the aircraft.

Flight was late incoming. Crew did a nice job trying to accelerate boarding. Flight was fine. My complaint is with the staff in the Lufthansa lounge in Paris. Clearly the desk attendant doesn’t like her job. Was rude and unhelpful. What’s the point?
It could not have been cancelled and the rebooking pro could have been smooth, not requiring me to be on hold and standing at check-in counter at Air Canada (not AC fault) for a total of 3 hours. Ridiculous.

Flight was late, with scheduled 50 min layover at Frankfurt. Arrived at gate A54, had to get to B5. We now had 35 min layover with delay, at top speed it took 30 min to get to B5 hot and bothered. Not good. Boarding in Lyon was normal chaos, shoving, and total disrespect for anyone beyond group 2. Boarding for Milan flight was more civilized as we all had to take a bus to plane.
Wonderful I upgraded from premium economy to business and it was totally worth it. The crew was fantastic. Very attentive positive. They made me feel right at home. We were on a 747 business class second story seat and it was fantastic.
I fell on July 18 went to the emergency room and injured my left hip with torn ligaments. Obviously I couldn’t travel and had to cancel my trip to the Paris Olympics. Yet Lufthansa only refunded the taxes. Unacceptable. I will never recommend that airline.
Well the flight was 3 hours delayed taking off which lead to missing the next flight in Newark and an overnight stay in a hotel (at my expense) for a next day flight, 1.5 hour long immigration line, etc. Let's just say my travel experience wasn't pleasant.
well we had 1 hot delay in Lyon and because we were not updated by further delay from Frankfurt, I had to run so fast for like 20 minutes to reach gate for next flight and then I was told the plane had 1 hour delay...
No priority boarding for business class. Delays, seat 4D was inoperable, table was broken. Movie choices were limited. Staff tried hard. Very poor experience based on previous Lufthansa’s flights. This was Discovery $8,600 was too much for this level of service. We will go back to DELTA when ever we can
