The screen reset to an old version couple of times during the flight the crew had to reset for me( the airline should know what i'm talking about) It's a six-hour flight but the meal was literally served at 8.55pm(original time) in my section which is the last section to get food when the flight took of at 6.10pm(original time) - almost three hours into the flight. Can't believe they claimed to be number one airline in the world. If you fly to the States from thailand. Take Quatar if you want to go to the east coast or asian airlines any thing japanese or korean or even chinese airline like Hainan airline. They are all way better than this."

Cons: "I started my journey from JFK with Emirates and before booking ticket I checked with customer care representative regarding the baggage allowance and I was told that I am allowed to carry up to 55 inch . I just carried 43 inch tv weighing 19lbs and one check-in baggage weighing 21kgs and they made me pay 175$ saying that tv size is not in allowed limitations. I have also filed complaint but didn’t get any response so far . Last year my husband carried 55 inch with ethihad from same airport JFK and was not charged single penny. so I can say there is no airport restriction as well."

When the bus stopped neat the air craft for boading, ground staff were seen collecing heavy hand carry luggage from the passengers for putting them in a separate compartment for taking as a cargo, which caused another delay in boading. Old air craft on this route should be replanced. Before boading from Dubai to Lahore, I checked my flight status several times on flight information screen but my flight was not shown on it. I was observing and trying to get some information on what is happening or reason for our delayed flight but to no avail. The captain's explanation makes no sense. With a 3 hour delay, I knew and felt that It would not be a great ride because right from the very start it already started wrong. I was already stressed out from the very beginning even though i saw in the cabin crew's effort and super great service towards especially to our older passengers their dedication and passion to serve. I was really looking forward to this flight but I guess this was one of those days that all you could do is close your eyes and stretch your patience. One other bad experience was getting on Terminal 1. Great improvement but it could be still better. Can't connect to Wifi (its asking me my number on the US when I did not sign up for roaming and for sure will not be able to get the code that they will send on my number) Last year was better, just log on and boom! Impressively lightning wifi speed connection. No questions or log ins and you can safely assure and text your relatives waiting patiently outside that you are there waiting. I just wished we went to Terminal 2 instead. But I guessed it will also be the same because everything started on a bad start with that 3hour delay. They were lucky most of the passengers were excited to be home and sleeping!"

I got a cheap fare of $600 roundtrip and now I know why it was so cheap. The airport in Manila is so shitty limited seating and limited choices of food."

They did allow her access to a short cut through the terminals; however she had collapsed, broke her watch, cover to the cell phone, injured both legs and right arm. She kept yelling for help and no one arrived, she managed while in intense pain to get up make her flight. When she arrived in Bangkok she went immediately to the Emergency Room and received treatment. I am appalled at the indifference of the members of the boarding crew that didn't offer assistance to my wife."

Pros: "I am a frequent flyer internationally and domestically in the USA, and flown multiple airlines but have never ever felt offended by a flight crew until my return flight to the US from Clark airport in the Philippines scheduled to depart on 1-13-2016 at 11:55pm. The cabin flight stewardess in her navy blue top and jeans asked me to sit down when she saw me standing at the front of the plane while the plane was cruising. There was no turbulence at that time, the seat belt sign was off and the captain did not announce a need to stay seated with the seat belt on. I explained that my back and left leg hurts so I needed to stretch, shake it off and stand. She insisted that I sit for my safety. I did not argue because I did not want to cause trouble. Then I asked her for the toilet which was behind her, hidden as she keeps the curtain pulled around the toilet and galley. She directed me to the tail of the plane when I am seated at #28B at first row at the front of the plane, 4-5 steps away from me. She kept still, standing in front of the toilet until I walked away to the back of the plane. Again, I did not complain nor argue. I thought to myself that maybe the front toilet if off limits to passengers. Then later when I returned to my seat, I watched all other passengers who appear of her same race and talked same language as hers, pull the curtain covering the toilet and galley, use the toilet and get drinks from her freely. I felt very offended that I was not allowed to use this toilet as every one else have and did not receive the same friendly service as those passengers. I wanted to keep to myself about this but I realized I was treated unequally. So I told her that I was offended that she directed me to the back of the plane to use the toilet while everyone else used the front of the plane toilet. I also told her I felt I was not treated equally and felt very hurt. She kept apologizing after I explained how I feel but her apology does not take away the fact that I was treated differently and unequally. I advised her that she should not treat her passengers as if we are ignorant of flying, of our rights and of flying etiquette. She kept apologizing every time she passes by me throughout the flight but this did not ease my feelings at all. This was the last blow to my dissatisfaction with this trip beginning with the 2-hour flight delay. With many other airlines flying to Clark airport in the Philippines, I choose not to fly Jin Air again. In fact, I already booked with another airline today for my next trip with my family in 6 months for a wedding. I will not recommend Jin Air to everyone I know."

I explained that my back and left leg hurts so I needed to stretch, shake it off and stand. She insisted that I sit for my safety. I did not argue because I did not want to cause trouble. Then I asked her for the toilet which was behind her, hidden as she keeps the curtain pulled around the toilet and galley. She directed me to the tail of the plane when I am seated at #28B at first row at the front of the plane, 4-5 steps away from me. She kept still, standing in front of the toilet until I walked away to the back of the plane. Again, I did not complain nor argue. I thought to myself that maybe the front toilet if off limits to passengers. Then later when I returned to my seat, I watched all other passengers who appear of her same race and talked same language as hers, pull the curtain covering the toilet and galley, use the toilet and get drinks from her freely. I felt very offended that I was not allowed to use this toilet as every one else have and did not receive the same friendly service as those passengers. I wanted to keep to myself about this but I realized I was treated unequally. So I told her that I was offended that she directed me to the back of the plane to use the toilet while everyone else used the front of the plane toilet. I also told her I felt I was not treated equally and felt very hurt. She kept apologizing after I explained how I feel but her apology does not take away the fact that I was treated differently and unequally. I advised her that she should not treat her passengers as if we are ignorant of flying, of our rights and of flying etiquette. She kept apologizing every time she passes by me throughout the flight but this did not ease my feelings at all. This was the last blow to my dissatisfaction with this trip beginning with the 2-hour flight delay. With many other airlines flying to Clark airport in the Philippines, I choose not to fly Jin Air again. In fact, I already booked with another airline today for my next trip with my family in 6 months for a wedding. I will not recommend Jin Air to everyone I know."

No significant delays, but the boarding process in both areas was unorganized; everybody just kind of lines up in a large mass. Boarding doesn't actually begin until like 5-10 min before the stated departure time, so actual departure is also pushed back. However, we ended up arriving around the stated time so I guess it doesn't really matter."

The passengers waited seating in the plane for more than 3 hours not knowing the reason of the delay nor when will it take off. There were no choice of meal. The meal was very basic and was with too authentic flavor and material. Rice was undercooked and compressed in rectangular shape probably by food producing machine. No individual grains can be seen. There were no individual monitors or entertainment available, but understandable, considering that it is a two and a half hour flight."

Pros: "The plane from LAX to Shanghai-Pudong was very nice and modern. It was a Boeing 777-300ER and was pretty comfortable in economy class with individual monitors behind each headrest. The entertainment on board was very good. The food was mediocre at best, but for the price point I have absolutely no regrets. The stewardess that was in our section was very cold but not unfriendly. We had a brief layover in Shanghai before heading to Seoul Incheon. The plane from Shanghai to Seoul was an older Airbus 330. It was pretty outdated and my armrest next to the window seat was actually half missing. Overall though, I was pleasantly surprised that they served a meal on the fight, and the flight attendants on this fight were much more friendlier than the previous international route. One recommendation is that China Eastern not post the production date on their bread rolls. There was a Korean passenger in front of me who thought the bread was expired and it caused a commotion on the plane. I was very impressed by how the attendants handled the situation. They were very friendly and even the head flight attendant came by to apologize although it was not needed."

Cons: "On our flight from Shanghai to Toronto (September 27th, 2016 @ 12pm - flight MU207) was total madness. A lot of the passengers were out of control. I've never seen anything like it. The amount of people walking around were unbelievable. People were playing cards, doing jumping jacks and tai chi around the emergency exit. None of the flight attendants tried to control the crowd nor informed them that they shouldn't be doing that by the emergency door. We had to inform the flight attendants of what was going on while they were hanging it or doing whatever they were doing in their own area. If that wasn't stressful enough, the passenger behind me started punching my seat and shaking my headrest multiple times because he wasn't happy that I had my chair reclined. EVERYONE HAD THEIR CHAIR RECLINED. We called the flight attendant and she apologized for what the man had done instead of putting him in his place and him apologizing for what he did because not long after she left he did the same thing! I've never experienced such a horrible flight and I've been on over 20+ flights just this year. China Eastern really needs to train their flight attendants better and teach them how to manage passengers when they are out of control. I've never written any reviews before but this was just such a terrible experience that I needed to leave this review."
