Great. Better than average US carriers on overseas flights. Still room for improvement to rise up the average Asian and Middle East airlines.
Our flight was canceled, then they moved us to a different flight number yet we didn’t receive notifications timely. We had to find out the latest on our own / later AA sent a text with the updated info..
They didn't tell me they changed my flight. So I got confused on what happened to my flight.
Flight crews are very attentive and polite. Cabin and toilets are clean. Food is above average for economy class. We missed our connecting flights because the first flight was delayed, the ground crews at Tokyo were very helpful, providing all the information and support (including cash for our train ticket) to get us to our destination. Very impressive. No wonder they are always at the top ten lists.

Japan Airlines was excellent as usual once on the plane. Cabin crew was wonderful as usual. Boarding was solid on the Honolulu leg. For Thai Airways the boarding was less organized. I was in an earlier group but they weren’t clear with the numbers or instructions. Flight crew from Japan to Thailand was very good.
Japan airlines is excellent. I had a great flight with them, and they are the consummate professionals. I booked my flight through Kayak and they sent it on to Underpricer. That felt really scammy. My Oneworld number would not attach to the reservation and I could not choose a seat. I called Japan Airlines and got one but it was in the back. Later I drove to the airport and worked with the excellent agents there to find a better one. Later that day, I got a phone call from Underpricer trying to upsell me the option of choosing a seat. It felt like a Spirit Airlines level crappy move. The flight itself was exactly as nice as you would expect from JAL. The meal was good and the flight crew was awesome.
They layover in Japan was too long , it took 11 hours.
I hope they never ran out of the menu choice one makes. They often do.
Flight attendants did great job for the families who has toddlers. One of toddlers behind us was crying for 4 hours straight and they helped the parents very well. and flight meal was delicious
Suite lounge in Honolulu is the best lounge in Honolulu. I love the huge bathrooms in ANA first Class on the A380 Honu plane. Japanese meal was outstanding and service was amazing. Everything was just excellent. Can’t wait to fly again
Their was $200 charge for 2nd luggage, airplane very new and flight smooth. Flight time seem faster then Asian stoping Korea then china.
The food was not great; but I don’t expect much from airline food. However, the staff was incredible! I had gotten to the gate when I realized I had left my computer at the security checkpoint! I told a staff member and she said, “well, you will miss this flight if you go back to get it” It was a long way from the gate. I asked if I might get on the next flight. She sent for another staff member, and he took me to the gate desk. He found an open seat, and said,”okay, go run to get your computer, I will get you a new boarding pass.” I rran back, retrieved my computer, and returned to the gate. It was closed, but I found the gate nearby where the next ANA flight was leaving. Another staff member was ready for me, and printed me a new pass, and even made sure I still had an aisle seat that I requested! I got in line and continued my trip. These people are amazing, helpful, and friendly. My trip could have been ruined, or postponed at a great expense, but they saved the day! 5 stars!!!!
The boarding process, food is one of the best, seats are roomier with better leg room.. the attendants are nice and accommodating…

The cabin was hot. I was sweating during the whole trip.
Crew were efficient and friendly. But my seat was very uncomfortable . Was seated at last row window seat 27. Too cramp
We did not receive our special meal request (vegetarian). The crew was apologetic but then kept interrupting me at least 6 times to ask to see my email or access the web to show verification. (I did not have internet access while on the plane). They kept asking the same questions and taking down the same information. It became exasperating. I understand these errors occur but the constant questioning was disrupted and only compounded the error.

Not enough seat cushion. Butt was hurting especially on long flight. Not enough movie selection. Entertainment was outdated. Coffee served was cold. Other than that flight was good.
Smooth sailing trip, pilots are good. Less amount of food offered but the quality is okey.
Humm, I should have known that the seat I peaked on my flight from Inchon to Manila was designed for a toddler or very small person.
The staff hold my luggage to steel and exchange my stub, i was very disappointed.

The entertainment screens are dated and needs to be changed to new screens. Then when we got home, I found out 2 of our luggage’s were damaged (huge) and some items stolen.
JetBlue's check-in was great, but there was an in-flight attendant who was very rude and unkind. I didn't realize that the bathrooms were already locked 30 mins prior to landing and needed to use the restroom. Instead of politely asking me to return, she rudely told me, 'NO, bathrooms are locked! Go back to your seat!' The JetBlue flight was more than an hour delay, which made me almost miss my connecting flight with Asiana. I understand the reasoning, but the action they took to get a hold of maintenance was time consuming. It took them more than 30 mins to get a hold of maintenance and for maintenance to get started. The Asiana flight and crew were wonderful, in general. They waited for us who were delayed from the previous flight before they took off and were very kind to take my checked baggage's info. Seats were a little uncomfortable for such long flight, but service and flight attendants were great! However, my 3 checked baggages are missing! They're lost somewhere in the transition. I'm writing this review 3 days after my arrival to the Philippines, and my 3 checked baggages, where my wedding dress is, are all still missing! I and the CEB airport crew have sent multiple emails to both JetBlue and Asiana, and neither has responded to any of our emails. Although, I was able to get in contact with JetBlue's Interline Department who confirmed that the bags were turned over to Asiana without confirmation details.
No problems upon arriving at Incheon and transferring to Manila. The plane was on time. However you cannot check flight status on the app for updates. Good could have been more palatable. Crew were amazingly.
The pilot was late so we didn’t take off til almost 2 hours late.

This was an overnight flight, and in the morning they did know coffee service. How you can throw passengers in a San Francisco airport at 5:40 a.m. in the morning and not giving them Coffee is a crime.
They told us yesterday APR21st that they were cleaning the plane and we got delayed. After that they said they didn't had any crew for the flight so they cancelled the flight till next day.
Packed in plane small uncomfortable seats elbow to elbow nobody wants to be in that situation for the money they paid
The aircraft was older, had limited entertainment options and no wifi on board. The flight attendants weren't the friendliest, but they were okay. Overall an okay flight.
Overall, the flight was good. Lounge access should be with all business class tickets.

Why does it have to be painful to fly long distances?
Flight went very well. Cabin crew were all courteous and very helpful, always with smiles on their faces. Food was great. I always love heated nuts with wine. Flying business class with Philippine Airlines is always a pleasant experience.

It was never explained why the departure flight was canceled and delayed for 1.5 hours. It would have been nice to stick with the original itinerary.
Many movies do not have captions, which would have been helpful when you have to live with the flight engine noise.

The checking in agent tried to give me a different seat. She tried to give me an economy seat even though I had already checked in with a seat assigned and paid an extra $300 for those seats. She also separated our seating assignment. Very unprofessional and seriously a bad example for an agent. She was rude when I showed her my receipts and she made us wait more than 15 minutes before we were able to get the right boarding passes and correct seats (seats that we paid for in advance)!!!
Flight delayed by hour for departure. No real announcements or updates until told to start boarding
Every thing was good except our baggage that wasn’t here when we arrived, we understood the cause but hopefully we will get it soon as possible
PAL Airlines is always delayed most of the time. Please try to avoid it.
