Cons: "If the flight was on time. The flight was delayed which resulted on missing my connecting fllight to Denver. I have to stay and wait at the San Francisco airport for 19 hours"
Pros: "Not much. Both flights to and from Manila were delayed. The flight out was delayed pre-boarding by about 15-min and then about 30-min in the plane on the tarmac. Leaving Manila was delayed boarding by about 1-hr and we landed about 30-min late. Philippine Airlines operation has gotten so much worse."
Cons: "Everything. From the chaos at Check-in on the Manila side from the understaffed and overwhelmed employees, to the gate control and communication with passengers at a reasonable time for the delays. Staff at MNL Terminal 2 for PA seem not to care and there seems to be no management that exists."

Pros: "the flight it self was good"
Cons: "the flight was delayed for more then an hour"
Pros: "Very nice crew. They were quiet efficient and very nice . Food was delivered quickly and was the usual airline quality food."
Cons: "We waited almost 30 minutes at the gate after the door closed. Then we waited on the tarmac for another 20 minutes. We taxied out and waited some more. No entertainment options to pass the time. Finally got clearance and took off."
Pros: "The service by the flight attendants was excellent!"
Cons: "The plane seemed very dated, although clean. The worse part was getting an IPad to watch a limited number of shows. The iPad was old and the headphones were cheap and didn’t fit well. After flying 5 business class flights in the last 2 weeks, this was by far the lowest level of entertainment available."
Pros: "Friendly, helpful, and patient are the words that come to mind. And very pretty, if that doesn't sound too sexist."
Cons: "#philippineairlines is one of the worst airline. Let's start with the moronic airport system where you have to go the security 3time and then your not allowed to bring water in the airline? They keep mentioning that is the US Dept of Homeland security guidance but Philippines is the only place I travelled with this stupidity. Then they gave you water while waiting and a bottle cap is considered a security hazard? Come on. The airline has few open seat at the first and business class, I offered to buy and told me that it'll cost $1000 and the plane is not even full! #philippineairlines is willing to have empty seats rather getting some needed cash. The flight attendant are so uptight and would give you attitude when ask for assistance...this is a customer service industry, if you don't want to be at your workplace then leave. The plane is old and no entertainment offer."
Cons: "The Manila airport is a mess! Everyone tells you something different. No one seems to know where to send you. I've never in my life had to exit an airport on a layover to re-enter again and go through the entire check-in process from scratch. There are no signs anywhere that tell you you will have to go through security a SECOND time once you're at the gate. I'm diabetic and need to have water on me at all times. I can't get dehydrated. I had no clue I woudn't be able to take the bottles of water I PURCHASED AT THE AIRPORT!!! with me on the plane. I've never experienced that in all my years of flying. No other airline or airport has ever made you throw out the water that you purchased at the airport. So I wasted my money there. PLUS, the only vendor that had any sort of appetizing food that I could eat as a diabetic was a cash only vendor. They took USD, great, but they were using a conversion chart from May 2017 (I was flying in March 2018) so the exchange rate was in THEIR favor. And they won't give you USD in change. They give you Philippine money in change. So I get screwed on the exchange rate on BOTH sides of the transaction. Plus, what am I going to do with Philippine money when I'm only in the airport for a layover??? So I'm going to lose money again to change it back to USD once I get home. Archaic. We are living in the 21st century. This shouldn't happen. The plane was sooooo uncomfortable for a 13 hour flight. The entertainment system at my seat wasn't working so I had to be moved once we were in the air. The new seat was so worn in, there was virtually no padding underneath my saecrum (butt bone) for the 13 hours. No foot rest, either. And the temperature in the plane fluxuated the whole time between hot and cold (although mostly hot). You should take some lessons from Singapore Airlines.....so much more comfortable in ALL aspects."
Pros: "The great service and hospitality of the flight crew. Was upgraded to business class, thanks PAL."
Cons: "In flight entertainment is through an iPad device which is not fully charged."
Pros: "It's a Philippine Flag carrier. It's a privilege to patronize our own carrier."
Cons: "No hassles at all. Generally a smooth flight to HongKong."
Pros: "It was like most other flights ie it was fine. Above average overall."
Cons: "A big negative was the transit lounge in Manila. Between 2 Philippine Airline flights we had an 8 hour layover in the Manila transit lounge. Not impressed at all. There were about 4/5 staff but they sat outside the lounge & did nothing to control the passengers & keep them quiet /organised. The lounge was very crowded, very noisy & there was only water to drink & nothing to eat. For 8 hours! The very least should be to supply more seating & a facility where passengers can order coffee/tea & snacks. Also there was only 1 ladies toilet, so always occupied. The lounge Definately needs an urgent upgrade in facilities then I would consider flying Phillipine Aiines again."
Pros: "Thw flight was on time."
Cons: "None so far."
Pros: "On time arrival"
Pros: "The flght is on time nice plane"
Pros: "flight, service --great"
Cons: "check in --vry problematic."
Cons: "It was several hours delayed, they finally boarded us, then told us they were closing the airport. They kept us on the place for another 2.5 hours while they were trying to figure out what to do. By time they let us off the plane it was 3:30 AM. Took another 2.5 hours to get our baggage back and another 1.5 hours to get the flight refunded. I travel weekly, and this has been the worst airline experience I have had so far."
Pros: "I liked the service , the friendliest crew, quick ease for boarding"
Cons: "Food was not that good. They could have done better in that department. I've had better airline food. Needs work there."
Pros: "The crew we're very friendly and courteous!"
Cons: "The leg room of the airline seemed less than other airlines I have flown."
Pros: "flight update via email"
Cons: "late boarding ground crew not announcing chnages in the schedule no inflight entertainment PAL app does not work propoerly"
Cons: "It was the shortest flight time I've ever had from cebu going back to LA"
Cons: "Terminal 2 Manila is really going down the drain check in one row, immigration endless inside depart only one toilet to s eve a totally overcrowded check in Zone, not sure who the genius is deciding to close down additional toilets on one of the most busy travel days"
Pros: "The lemon butter fish was one of the better airplane meals I've ever had. Boarding was quick and smooth. Taiwanese people take the longest of any nationality to board a plane (they have a series of "pre-seating" maneuvers which cause huge backups). Despite this, the flight attendants politely humored them and were not pushy. Had this happened in the US, the flight attendants would have told them to sit down, get out of the way, and do their aisle stretching exercises and random meanders around the plane AFTER all passengers had been seated!"
Cons: "The plane was old and dirty. The flight attendants seemed more interested in gossiping with each other than greeting passengers (though one or two were very good and professional). Only one flight attendant could speak Chinese. This was not a problem for me, though it was for some of the Taiwanese tourists."
Cons: "Didn't get my bags onto the connecting flight"
Pros: "easy check in good crew"
Cons: "All was good"
Pros: "I travel all the world many countries all the time and this landing in guam was on the top ten maybe number 2 of all times congrats pilots very good so good happy"
Cons: "the window was dirty [ someone wiped nose on it maybe] please chek the clean crews for the windows ."
Pros: "i would like to suggest that if there be any chance that vegetarian meals for vegetarians can also be served during international flights. Thank you so much! So far so goog! Keep up!"
Pros: "That the plane took off on time and landed ahead of schedule - not like the trip down to Sydney"
Cons: "The entertainment system is non existent and is something that needs to be addressed. The food was a bit better than what was served on the trip down to Sydney but also needs to improve."
Pros: "Basic airline services were provided"
Cons: "Flight was delayed and we weren't given the reasons for the delay. No apologies were given either."
Pros: "The flight staff was more than accommodating to my husband and myself as we both had become very ill . They did everything they could do to make us comfortable. The airline put us up in a hotel for the evening and got us on a flight the next day."
Cons: "First I would like to say I understand things go wrong that are out of the airlines control but being grounded on a run way for ten hours is absolutely ridiculous . We both became very ill about two hours after eating on the flight to the point of needing medical attention. The delay ended up costing us $179 extra dollars for our car parked and it would be more than reasonable and expected for you reimburse us for this cost. We have a receipt for the proof of this cost . You can reach me by email firstname.lastname@example.org Sincerely Michelle bennett"
