The airline is terrible. They did not allow me to check in a bag ahead of time for my flight. I checked when I bought the ticket, I checked weeks before, I checked each day leading up to the day of my flight if I could add a checked bag and Latam kept telling me I had to do it at the airport when I check in. When I got to the airport they over charged me and told me I could have avoided the charge of $130 if I had paid ahead of time. When I explained that I tried and was told to do it at the airport, they gave me terrible excuses and pretty much told me too bad and robbed me of $130. I will never fly Latam again.
They served food even late for people who wanted to eat
I would recommend Lan Chile to all people flying to South America. Definitely a great experience.

I like the staff! They were friendly. The food was scarce and they took for ever since they start serving it until I got it. Only four flight attendants were distributing it for the entire plane.
It will be better if Latam will love to tell us when they made changes in my itenary. I feel that my itenary was change to however they like instead of how we arrange when I purchase my ticket. I have two elder people with me and i did not like that we have to split to be able to get home. The counter people does not know how fix situation and don't understand reasons.we wanted to board the plabe together as we purchase the ticket. i dont know why my ticket was the itenary the same as when we left to Peru. I feel that what I choose was not acceptable that.my itenary could be change to however Latam wants to do. That is very not nice and not restpetful to my wishes. Please call us for an apology and maybe a refund for all that we have to go to. My bag is also not get the destinatiin to Jfk.
In honesty. I was very upset that my husband and uncle flight wascancel coming back from Peru. Going to peru also it was cancel two times one because the covid was not accepted The second time he could not board the plane i dont know why? the third time is when he finally left to peru but he did not notice that rhe flight coming back home was cancel. Latam split the tickes and send us two to Miami and two to NY. I could not believe what Latam did why they cancel our flight itenary coming back without telling us or sending us a message. I was trying to talk to you about this matter and your long distance numbers do not work outside USA. your work is very poor. I dont know if i should recomend your company to anybody. I shall get some money back too for all that we went through. Even my ludgage bag was missing. It will be nice if someone from latam call me and explain the reason of the mistakes and probably own us an apology. .

Alaska Airlines was well run. They were also helpful and were positive even though flights had been cancelled. My flight was on time👍
Staff was very friendly and helpful at the counter, airport, and plane. Inconsistent rules: I was allowed to take my water to drink from Cajamarca to Lima but the water I bought for Lima to LAX was confiscated and thrown away… a minor irritation. Masking rule was positively enforced👍. It was a comforting feeling that the passengers were well behaved. Overall, I would definitely fly LATAM again.
I booked the flight through budgetair.com and paid for one checked bag. When I went to LATAM gate at the airport, they told me they had no record of my purchasing a checked bag and would need to charge me. Budgetair insisted I had paid for a checked bag and LATAM insisted I had not and would need to pay again. Not sure if the issue is with budgetair or LATAM or both
There are 3 reasons to fly a different airline and 1 to fly this one. Cons 1. Getting off the plane they row by row but you cannot stand up before. It took nearly 3x the time and people that are slower that normally wait were being assisted by flight attendant so we all sat and watched. 2. we could NOT use phones while waiting to get off plane as they claimed they were fueling ... That is 7 year old fears. 3. They don't board in any logical way so just a complete mess. Pro 1. Clean plane
They need more staff to work at check in desk or change flight hours. There were 2 flights of LATAM at the same time and other 2 flights near my flight hour so the line to check in were too long and it didn’t move fast. I understand that now they take more time because they have to check many papers because of COVID-19. But I nearly miss my flight. I barely arrived to the gate 5 minutes before departure time! And obviously this things leads to delay.

No option to reserve a better seat. I was allocated the last seat in the middle in the last row at the back of the airplane. Completely full airplane, which again made me nervous due to COVID-19 risks of getting infected. Crew was very efficient, though.

Airline staff are very helpful, airline is extremely punctual, polite, and organized, aircrafts are especially clean and comfortable.
I had my seat reserved since the day I bought my tickets(3 months in advance) and even after checking my seat confirmation on the same day of my flight they changed my seat during the check-in. I have a broken foot and was accompanied by another person. I had to fly in a seat that was not appropriate for my broken foot situation and without my companion next to me. This airline does not respect its customers.
This was my first flight with LATAM, and I loved it! After not being able to reach my final destination on Spirit Airlines, I booked a ticket with LATAM. I unknowingly booked a first class ticket, but I was not disappointed! I had never been in first class, and I was so impressed with the flight attendant politeness and attentiveness, meal service, spaciousness, comfort, and window views. I would like to fly them again!
