Good Morning - we were unable to take the flight from Dublin to Reykjavik because it was delayed and we couldn't risk missing out connection to Denver. At the beginning of our trip the flight from Reyykjavik to Dublin was canceled without telling us and we had to get a different airline on that leg as well. . . When we called the airline, they were closed and unable to help. When we called Kayak, i couldn't understand the person and they were unable to help as well! We purchased the insurance for the trip and sure hope that we can get some help from Iceland Air and from Kayak.
Never again will I fly to Europe on Icelandair. It took me 1.5 hours to check-in in Berlin (one person working the counter, another one handling the “express” line, no opportunity to get a boarding pass at home), Came to the airport 2 hrs before but after I cleared security, the display showed last call for my flight with 2 min remaining. Ran. Did not shop, did not eat, did not buy food to take onboard. Icelandair sells a limited number of food items (a chicken sandwich - not for a vegetarian - and a cheese pizza as well as several snacks), no complimentary food is served. This is what they call “simplified onboard service”. Connection in Reykjavík was 1hr 25 min, and all of this time I stood in line to clear passport control: again no shopping, no eating, and not even a bathroom break. Arrived home famished and super annoyed. Had to buy headphones on board (is this a budget airline?!) and the selection of movies left much to be desired.
Flight was ok
Flight crew was excellent and I appreciated being addressed as "Dear Passenger." Connecting to wifi was difficult/confusing (and a bit pricey, but that's not unique to Icelandair). No free snacks (beverages only). Passengers were seated with plenty of space between us (flight was not full). Very comfortable economy class on the Boeing 767-300s, less so on the 737-MAXs. While my first flight was delayed due to weather, the connection and return flights were on time and even landed early. If you connect at the Keflavik Airport, do buy the Nordic Deli Green Energy Smoothie--so delicious and refreshing!
Comfortable easy flight
No social distancing on the buses to the plane. no early boarding for 1st class. But staff was terrific in handling delicate situations.
Flight attendant in Saga class was outstanding!! Could be more current entertainment choices...and wish they had a better business class seat.
I bought insurance and everything cancelled 1 month ahead of time all they gave me was a sorry and no refund back even with premium service attached.
Very nice flight.
Poor selection of movies. Perhaps 30 or 40 movies available and none of them "new" in the last 6 or 12 months. Seat was fairly hard -- tough for 6 hour flight from Reykjavik to Chicago!
Some drinks and basic snack will be good. Water should be served at least once an hour. Blankets for folks who might be cold.

Pros: Flight was relatively empty. Professional crew, comfortable seats
Cons: I think they skipped me with food service. Checking up on passengers who may have been sleeping would be nice. Headphones need to be purchased. Limited entertainment options.

Cons: Communication about international COVID requirements before the day of departure.
Pros: Easy flight, and boarded in the front and back of the plane. Made it easier and faster to get on.
Cons: They aren’t too clear in baggage charges. I got standard fare, but still had to pay for my checked bag for both ways.
Pros: The crew was nice, however, they also give varying information. We had frequent flier tickets and when I checked in, the screen stated no extra charge for check in bags and I also called the customer service. When I got to the airport in Hamburg, they wanted to charge me $100 for a bag. I asked the lady behind the counter to call the main office because she said she has no authority to change the fee. I called the main office and had the person in office tell the agent at the airport that it is a mistake and that there is no charge.
Cons: Better communication between all aspects of the company.
Pros: My seat cushion was out of alignment so not great. But I like the two side seat configuration.
Cons: Boarding is a zoo. Board by row. It’s faster.
Pros: I liked the northern lights look after boarding upon introduction of the captain and crew members. Everyone was super personal and uninformed looked great. The best part was when they started boarding from the last row, which is the most logical and efficient way to do it
Pros: Icelandair crew were very hospitable and accompodating
Cons: I have never sat in such a narrow seat. Literally could not put my hand down the side to pull out my seat belt. Two days later I still have sores from where the side of the seats hit my hips. Did not even provide complimentary peanuts.
Pros: Fast boarding and on time
Pros: That I got to visit a place as mystical as Iceland for such a low and affordable flight. My departure flight with Iceland Air was on time and although the return was a bit tardy the company did an excellent job with being transparent.
Cons: The flight crew could have been a bit more polite
Pros: Got assisted to the plane by airport staff as I was in a wheelchair
Cons: Food on board was awful. Ordered hamburger but not availabe having already pre paid. Pizza was poor quality and had no taste. Range of food disappointing
Cons: Took far too long for drinks service into the flight. Almost 2 hours in before drinks came around to me
Pros: Love the 757 fleet of Icelandair. Professional crew.
Cons: Every flight was late and no effort to do anything about it. Flying in the mid 400’s turned a 1hr 40min layover into a run for the connection. Far be it to use more fuel to deliver on your schedule. I’ve been on too many flights where the pilot found the gas pedal to make up for things on the ground to not think this is Icelandair policy and therefore will have a good chance of happening to me again with them.

Cons: I was surprise that we were given food (i.e. sandwich) and blanket on the way to Iceland flight 614, but not on the way from Iceland flight 615. Still don't understand why
