The pick up was the worst I’ve ever experienced. It was late in the evening, after 10 pm. There was only one person working at the counter!!!! There was a huge line. We waited for an hour and a half!!! No other workers came out!!! I will say the one person working was extremely calm and courteous when we were finally checked in. Shame on budget for putting all of this pressure on one employee. The car was nice and clean, but we will not be renting from Budget again. We specifically rented on site at the airport because our flight was getting in around 9 pm. Very disappointing to have to wait this long, especially at this time of night with our tired family.Reviewed Oct 7 2024

The gentleman in Orlando was extremely helpful! Anyone we spoke to on the phone was not. I called one of the 1800 numbers and the woman was rude and didn’t help much. The woman at the a Philadelphia location was not helpful either. Seemed like I was inconveniencing them with questions. Not good customer service.Reviewed Aug 6 2024

I get there and they said they didn't have a reservation for me, then after a minute they found it, then said "we don't have any cars at that price" then reluctantly offers me another vehicle at the same charge. I then give her my debit card and she tells me it's declined, had to call my son to come pick me up, we went down the road to Enterprise despite the fact the it was a little more expensive some how my card that was declined just minutes before went through with no issues whatsoever.Reviewed Jul 31 2024

Only had option of an EV, have never driven one before. When renting online, should mention this possibility. Person at pickup counter not very helpful, only there to upsell. Didn't mention to check transponder if on/off or how much charged the EV should be on return.Reviewed May 19 2024

I typically do not write reviews, but this experience was beyond irritating. I went to the counter already pre-checked and on the budget app, which made no sense because I had to redo everything again to counter and added a bunch of items to my bill without even asking me, for example, he told me to click the screen five times. OK if I did not read it it said I was being charged for refill gas, which was an additional $90 so please be weary once you go to the counter and they will try to get you for everything if you don’t pay attention to your bill when I got to the vehicle, it was disgusting had stains all over the seat doors inside were all sticky, I would never run this place againReviewed May 5 2024
