Booked a car to be picked upnin Calgary and returned in Vancouver. What wasnt clear (maybe with very small letters?) was that the drop fee for returning in a different lovation wasnt included in Kayak’s rental price. Drop fee was ~40% of rental fee!! I would probably have booked anyway but not nice to be tricked. Car and waitingntime etc was fine but hard to be happy when cheated this wayReviewed Aug 6 2026

Quite bad. I have a family of 5 and booked an Intermediate SUV which had a picture of RAV4/Toyota 4Runner in the advertisement. I was given a Kia Seltos instead. I had 4 big suitcases and 4 small carry on bags + an infant seat. To get everything to fit, I had to get the back seats to lean forward so I could get the trunk to close with all the suitcases in it. Imagine what my kids went through in the back seat for a 1.5 hour drive from Banff to Calgary! Very disappointed!! Either be honest and advertise a Kia Seltos for an intermediate SUV or accomodate your customers needs!Reviewed Jun 28 2026

I booked a car with GPS but when I arrived to collect it they didn’t have any GPS. So I had to pay around $50more per day in order to have a car with a navigation system.Reviewed Aug 15 2024

Agency had a long (several hour) wait for cars upon arrival. Item left in car (hat) and, even after notifying the agency within minutes, they could not locate the hat. We received follow-up the next day due to the agency not having a record of us returning the car. Overall, a disorganized operation.Reviewed Jul 15 2024

Full size SUV is not a ford edge similar to high lander. Car was not clean when picked up and we had to identify multiple scratches and dents not included on the form so with no attendant outside we had to walk back inside to the rental counter to add them to the form before leaving (extra 20 min process)Reviewed May 26 2024
