The guy that helped me: Bastian, he told me that the car was not available because I was 3 hours late (we had a flight delay and strong headwinds) He wanted to switch me to a SUV for more than 40 dollars extra per day. I didn’t want that and after 1,5 hours discussing finally some other budget company brought in a pickup Truck. Wich i had rented. Note: because we were 3 hours late the available pickup trucks were at the garage for an oil-change… we couldn’t believe that. When we brought the car back we tanked it ourselves. The closest gasstation was about 7 minutes away. I drove 350 km. And filled the truck for about 60 dollars. After we returned the car, the fuel-gage was just below full. The same guy: Bastian, wanted to charge us 39 dollars for that. We had a whole discussion about that. Furthermore, the left backtire looked like it had been relaired somewhere earlier but it didn’t look good because it had iron threads sticking out of the tire. We only drove from the airport to our destination and to grocery stores and back… We didn’t trust the vehicle at all. Never again will we rent at Budget again. Horrible experience!Reviewed Jan 5 2024

Budget company rented me a car with some kind of problem with the on-board computer and this caused me a lot of discomfort during the trip. I even returned the car ahead of schedule.
