Cons: Rental car was not airport . It was miles away. Charged 270. For 1 day. Canceled still waiting fir refund.

Pros: I received a call the morning i was supposed to pick up the vehicle, that they didn't have it available. This call was at 9:00 am and was to pick up the vehicle at 2:30. Called cust. service and explained the situation, but they had nothing to say except "sorry" and wasnt able to help me.

Pros: While we didn't get the class of car we reserved, the one we did get was nice and very clean. The rate was pretty good as well.
Cons: Everything else was lousy. Took forever to get a car since they didn't actually have any readily available even though we had a reservation. The return was a nightmare. Hertz website and call center said a location near our house was open on Sunday and when my husband and I got there, a sign on the door said they were closed on Sunday. We ended driving back to the airport to return the car and it also took forever. We will never rent from Hertz again,
Pros: This was a miserable experience. Customer service is a joke, I will never rent from hertz again ever!!!!!
Cons: Everything was a distaster. No cars at the rental center, hidden fees, bad customer service, dirty car when picked up. I will never use hertz again. I rent cars about once a month for business trips. This is my 2nd bad experience with them. Last time I refused to use them for 5 years. Gave them another chance and got burned. Never again with hertz
Cons: It took us 30 min to find the location of our pick-up. When we found it, the front desk was closed after we were told they closed at 11pm.

Cons: Car reeked of smoke, no other options available. Drop off location was closed on my designated drop off date. Customer service 1-800 team had me on hold for 30 minutes, hung up on me, and in the end provided no solutions. Customer service agent at Hobby airport location was very helpful. Nightmare experience, will never rent from Hertz again.

Cons: Insurance was high I thought I did not have the car 24 hrs and had to pay $40.00 for insurance. and my insurance would have paid for repairs. I would have had to pay to cover rental lose. that is the only reason I bought insurance.
