The staff member who helped me obtain my vehicle was terrific. The only complaint I have is that I specifically reserved a mini van for a noon pick up. When I got there, none were available. Then why bother? So I agreed to a large SUV. When I went to the deck to get in the vehicle, another customer was about to drive off in it. He too had been assigned the same vehicle. I went all the way back to the counter and by the time I got there, a minivan had been cleaned and was available. If it weren't for the exceptional customer service I received from the desk staff, I would have had a much worse attitude.Reviewed Mar 29 2024

The first vehicle they gave us, when we went to get it, the key was missing, so we had go through the whole process again. The second vehicle we got from the time of pickup reminded us constantly that it was in need of an oil change. This was a bit alarming as we didn't know how long we could travel until it might become an emergency issue.Reviewed Mar 19 2024

When I arrived I was told the mini van I reserved was not available and had to take a suv with minimal trunk space. I walked to the car alone with no one there to do a walk around with me to take note of any issues with the vehicle. The car was NOT clean, there was dirt in the trunk space, a stain on the middle seat, and the outside of the vehicle was dirty. I had no choice but to take the car in that state as I was on a time schedule. During my time with the car it CUT OFF due to a computer malfunction and took over an hour to come back on causing me and my family to miss a dinner reservation. No cars were available for pick up when I arrived at the airport - had to wait in line for an available vehicle. When I reached my destination - I parked, checked into my hotel, and went out back out. The car would not start. The battery had died. I called the roadside assistance number on the key fob. They came right away and jumped the car . He also recommended I immediately take the car to an airport close to where I was (not the same airport where I picked up the vehicle) and return it - which I did. Thankfully, I had the time to do this - although a major inconvenience.Reviewed Feb 19 2024

My flight got in at 12:45am. Booked a 1:00am pickup. Got to the counter at 1:30am and it was closed. Website said open til 2:00am. Saw manager come back to lock doors and looked right at me and left anyway. Called 4 different people to resolve this issue and they said they couldn’t do anything. Waited til 5:00am to talk to a representative and they also could care less about what happened. Just snarked at me and asked if I still wanted the car rental or not. Steve was extremely unhelpful and Budget as an organization was horrible. Confirming a reservation for me and then not providing a car at multiple locations, then making me pay for an upgrade I didn’t need or want. Budget lost a customer for sure. This was the worst customer service and car rental experience I’ve ever had or heard of. And I will see to it that none of my businesses ever work with Budget again.Reviewed Nov 10 2023

The car had a slight marijuana smell and there was some trash under the driver's seat. The trash wasn't a big deal since I just picked it up before I picked up my client, the I had to explain the marijuana smell to my client, and it took away from the professional first impression I was trying to make.
