The reps at Charlotte airport tried to give me another vehicle because they wanted to use me to drive it back since it was a one way rental. The ‘rep’ at Baltimore airport at check-in was extremely rude and disrespectful. I report this and they never addressed any of this.
Fantastic pickup experience, all staff at pickup were amazing. Drop off was a cynch, and the car was exceptional.
Hey I’ve always seen this company sitting on the side and just thought, they probably want an arm and a leg for one of those nice cars. I drive a BMW 4 series and once you’ve drove luxury, it’s hard to go back. The price was lower than if I went and rent a Nissan Altima, crazy right. Maybe they had a special or just the timing was right. I like what I got and got a real experience.
When I first tried to book, they allowed me to go through the whole process and then told me there were no cars available. I tried again for a different car and was able to get one. I went to pick up the car and the woman at the counter told me that even though I had a reservation, if it was made that same day there were not any cars available. Then after she actually looked, she told me that my reservation was actually available but there were actually two under my name. I told her I was told that the first one didn't go through because there were no cars available at the time. Then she tried to upsell me on insurance I didn't need and intimidate me with fear tactics about what could happen if I didn't get the insurance. After all that I finally got the car. The car was mostly clean. It had some minor seat stains but it was a good experience. Then at the end of the trip I saw that SIXT charged my card twice, once for the actual rental and once for the one THEY canceled. I called them to dispute the charge and they told me they never actually canceled it, even though when I tried to book they told me there were no cars available. So SIXT charged me for a car they never had that I never rented.
