Showed up at pickup time for the rental car at 5pm. Hertz employee was sitting at the desk when we pulled up. In the time my family and myself unloaded from the car and with the luggage the employee closed and locked the buisness. I confronted the employee as she was attempting to drive away. She informed me the buisness closed at 5pm and she could not help me. When asked how we pick up our rental employee shrugged and said "I don't know, maybe grapevine" then drove away. My family was stranded at a closed buisness, in a rough part of dallas in the rain.Reviewed Mar 25 2024

Terrible. They were rude, inconsiderate and did NOT honor the reservation. I told them then why did they show the availability and why did they take the reservation in the first place and they said "you can take it up with corporate" and despite having the car and me being in it, they turned me back from the check out booth. It was very unprofessional and rude. Will never rent from Hertz again and Kayak should take this up with the company. It caused me to stay back in Dallas at night and i had to pay surge pricing on Uber not to mention the hotel stay. I need to be reimbursed for the same.Reviewed Mar 9 2024

It seems like Hertz and KAYAK are not in sync with each other. I did everything online and when I when I arrived to pick up at Hertz they were asking for a $250 deposit. I told them that I had already booked online and everything was set but they argued that they are not the same company and what I did online has nothing to do with their company. Very bad. I wait a long time for the car. And the car is dirty inside and out. No windshield liquid. The charge is outrageous for a one day rental. Drop off location close early. So I have to drop off at another location. Overall, a very bad experience.Reviewed Jan 18 2024

1) I was not aware I had booked a car as your app never communicated that my transaction went through. So my co-worked rented one instead. Overall a REALLY BAD app experience!
