The did not have our vehicle we requested (full size sedan). We were told we had to upgrade at a $100 up charge. We were not shown how to use the vehicle. We had trouble trying to put it into gear and park. We also were not told where to go to drop off. Car was beautiful though. I just wish we didn’t have to pay so much for an upgrade when other companies normally cover the cost because it’s their fault they don’t have vehicles in stock.

When I came to pick up the car, they were out of the class that I had reserved. The counter person informed me that I would need to pay more money for an upgrade. Never in my life have I rented a car and if the class of car wasn't available when I got there, did the rental place have the audacity to charge me for an upgrade. Then he tried to give me a "discounted" upgrade. Finally after I objected again and said that I would not rent from Sixt again, he did not charge me for the upgrade.

The whole process was quick and smooth. Staff was nice and friendly. Only didn’t like that we had to wait as there were no cars in the parking lot available for us. But it all worked out because of the staff.

Terrible. They were rude, inconsiderate and did NOT honor the reservation. I told them then why did they show the availability and why did they take the reservation in the first place and they said "you can take it up with corporate" and despite having the car and me being in it, they turned me back from the check out booth. It was very unprofessional and rude. Will never rent from Hertz again and Kayak should take this up with the company. It caused me to stay back in Dallas at night and i had to pay surge pricing on Uber not to mention the hotel stay. I need to be reimbursed for the same.

Very bad. I wait a long time for the car. And the car is dirty inside and out. No windshield liquid. The charge is outrageous for a one day rental. Drop off location close early. So I have to drop off at another location. Overall, a very bad experience.

Will never use them again. It took 90 minutes to get through the check out line. Over one hundred people waiting in line for 4-5 agents who took 10-15 minutes per person. The absolute worst and slowest customer service I have ever seen. Their employees truly did not care.

Had to switch cars 3 times because the first two had a tire pressure problem and the under carriage was scraping the road when we were driving. Did not feel safe. Finally switched it to a 3rd car and it was okay. They don’t check the cars before hand and didn’t even send us any e-mail receipt or confirmation until we had to call several times for it. Couple times we called customer service the employee was rude and no help. Will not be using budget in the future.

II ordered a car for 12:00, I picked it up at 16:00. because there were no cars. I did not order an electric car, after 4 hours of waiting the service representative told me that he only had an electric car for me. The car had a damaged charging indicator. I waited 6 hours for help, no one came.

The process to pick up the vehicle took 1 hour and 30 minutes. The line at the airport was 70 customers deep. From there, you had to shuttle to a garage. The process was long and cumbersome. The employee at the counter “Ron” was excellent. Extremely friendly.

First rental at Memphis, they were sold out of cars despite having a reservation. Then they told me they would call in the morning and never did. I ended up having to use a ride share everywhere. Then I went to pick up a car at DFW. DFW is a 24 hour rental center. There was no one at the rental counter or in the Budget lot. I ended up having to rent from another company.

When we arrived at the rental counter we were told no cars were available despite our reservation. The Dollar rep told us we should have rented through them and not Kayak. We then tried to cancel the reservation by calling the customer service number on our Kayak reservation but it was an endless blame loop of the Dollar rep saying they hadnt heard from the Kayak rep who had said he had spoken with them on the phone. We eventually got the vehicle 45 minutes later. I was also charged an extra $89 for the rental by Dollar which we will be disputing through Kayak. Disappointing and not organized to say the least.

My flight was delayed. When I arrived there was no one at the counter as it was closed. Had to stay the night near the airport and get the car the next day. Was still charged for the day I did not have it on top of having to pay for a hotel.

Pick up was absolutely ridiculous. Took over two hours from entering the line to getting into the vehicle I had already scheduled. Completely screwed up all rest of my schedule. Upon return they have no record of me dropping the vehicle off, which was done on time on the correct date. Proceeded to try and charge me $1800 for a two day rental and had to close my credit card for fraudulent charges. To say least will never be using Avis again.

The offer I received was for electric car only which was not advertised that way. At the pickup counter they couldn’t explain where I could recharge EV before drop off nor they had a service to prepay the charge (as you do the fuel tank). My car was basically a roller skate. I expected a compact and got a sub, sub-compact. It rained throughout my trip and my rental’s tires were almost bald. I was a a significant risk of accident all day. 😤

The Airport Van Rental was a mess! They lied and said “in terminal” on Kayak listing. The Airport shuttle had never heard of them. I got two different directions on every step to get the car and return it. The car had two shatter across the windshield. The car was on empty and was told we didn’t need to worry about that. I was charged $300.00 more after booking this and I wasn’t able to get out of it. I would never recommend using this service on your search ingine.

Great value for the price of the rental. Super nice folks working there too. The hours were a bit odd though and made drop off a few more steps than usual, but nothing crazy. Would choose them again.

Our experience was absolutely awful. Pickup was an absolute mess, and getting a shuttle to the area (we were told we would get one) took multiple calls to actually come pick us up. They dropped me off at the wrong spot and I had to walk. The car itself was fine, ran good, and was clean. Drop off was also a wreck. The gate of AVS was locked so I couldn’t take the car back to where I picked it up. They wanted me to drop it off in a parking lot at the airport. The provided address sent me on a hour long goose chase. I almost missed my flight. I never found the parking lot and ended up having to leave it somewhere else. Overall the customer service at this establishment is GARBAGE.

Great car and price but pick up and drop off take twice as long due to a double shuttle,long drive and minimal staff. They are friendly and product is good. Just know you’re paying less because you’ll lose time in the process.

I was stranded in the Dallas airport, made a reservation for a car, took a shuttle all the way over to the ground transportation area, and I was told there were no cars available, despite confirmation online AND a representative on the phone who assured me it was there.

Car itself was fine, though there was spilled coffee inside that hadn't been cleaned. As a Canadian, they insisted I locate and send my car insurance renewal documents to them to verify I did have insurance. There was no warning about this, and it caused an hour delay at midnight. A fellow Canadian at the till beside me experienced the same hassle.

Ground floor office was closed signs directed us to second floor. On second floor outside there was an abandoned booth with another customer waiting. I talked to another rental company and they informed me that fox closed at 11. There were no signs informing customers of closure times or what to do if they were closed. We had no warning of opening closing hours and had to rent a car elsewhere at short notice and paid four times the price. I will never be booking with kayak or fox again.if
