The type of vehicle I reserved was not available and only option (from the rude representative) was an EV (which I did not want and later discovered had no charging cord) or a 12 passenger van. Was told the car I reserved would be delivered to me the next day and it never was. Worst customer service I've ever experienced traveling and I won't be using Avis in the future.Reviewed Mar 30 2025

I booked flights based off of the idea I could rent a car. A few hours after renting a car, they called me saying they didn’t have any and had to cancel my reservation. Now I had non refundable flights in another city with no way of getting there.Reviewed Feb 9 2025

The pickup was a pretty horrible experience. The person checked me in and I paid, which took about 20 minutes. Then they realized that they had checked me in as the wrong person. Then voiding this was difficult and the system did. Not want to check me in as it thought I had a car already. Had to wait for the manager. We were supposed to get a small car but we got a Chevy Silverado that smelled like cigarettes. In all, not great.Reviewed May 4 2024
