Please tell kayak to take off the car insurance offering they have on their web portal. U-save refused to allow me to use the collision and liability car insurance I purchased which was offered on the kayak website. They said I must purchase the liability and collision car insurance that.U-Save offers. The U-save insurance cost more and they would not allow me to rent the car without it.Reviewed Apr 29 2025

The only car rental company that didn't accept our Liberty Mutual California liability limits. The total cost was over double the quoted rate. Also we got pulled over by the police due to expired plates.Reviewed Apr 16 2025

It was a huge waste of time. They didn’t want to accept the insurance coverage I purchased. They refused to sell me any coverage as well and said I had to use my own car insurance as coverage as well as hold a 1500$ deposit. The location was creepy in the evening. They didn’t have any parking. The place was dirty. The employees were not helpful. I ended up leaving with no rental.Reviewed Apr 11 2025

I had a terrible experience with this company. They do not accept any insurance other than their own, and if you have already purchased insurance elsewhere, they simply refuse to give you the car. If you decide to buy their insurance, you’ll be faced with an outrageously high price, much more expensive than any other rental company. On top of that, their staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I would strongly advise against renting from them.Reviewed Feb 13 2025
