I Cancel this reservation a month ago and Hertz kept $100 which doesn't really make sense. In my opinion, they owe me $100. I gave them plenty of time to cancel.
This was a one way rental, and they tried to stick me with an electric vehicle, knowing that it would force me to have to pay the upgrade fee, since you literally can't get there from here.
Your web site told me that I would be getting a Jeep Compass or similar car from Hertz for a certain price. When I got to Burbank, they Hertz employees had not seen a Jeep Compass come through in months and offered me a Kia--which I could have rented from multiple other car companies for much less than what Hertz was charging me. Super frustrating that I picked Hertz because of their offer, which was totally inaccurate. I won't be using them again:
Check in was easy and fast, representative who assisted with providing us our car was friendly, easy to work with, and made it fun. Great experience.
We rented an electric car, we arrived and we were told that they do not have a car at all. We waited for 5 hours and was finally offered an F150 which is completely opposite of an electric vehicle in terms of gas consumption. They told us that they do not have anything in their lot and if we don’t take it, we won’t have any car. Bad bad planning on their end. Look at their reviews. Pretty much the same issue from their customers.
