Ive had the worst experience I ever had with hertz rental car . I have never had an experience such as this ever . The customer service was bad we had to wait an hour to receive a car then the hertz store only had one car which they didn’t have the inventory what we had originally what was pre-paid for so we had to pay an additionally fee. Then the young lady that worked for the company lied to us told us we can bring the car back at 5:00 and would take us back to the airport . She lied to us when we got there the store was closed and we were way out not even by an airport. I stay on the phone with Hertz for and whole hour to talk about my experience. Didn’t get a live agent . Then when it was finally time for us to go we almost missed our plan due to the gate of the rental store was locked we had to give the key and leave the car on the property at Chevy dealer with Jason. Whole experience was awful. The young lady that they had working there was so un professional. She could have giving us the right times for business hours. Which she didn't she basically misled us on everything with the rental. Not a happy customer by far. Hertz never tried to make things right either. POOR SERVICE THERE at the store Nd over the phone. The experience was horrible. To pick up the car I had to wait about 45 minutes because there was one clerk in about 30 people in line. The clerk was not happy. She was very rude and then the car as soon as we got in needed an oil change And didn’t come with formats. It was just not a good experience would never rent from that rental hub again.Reviewed Apr 25 2025

Our experience renting from Hertz at the San Angelo Airport was excellent. Pickup and drop off were so simple. The counter agent was efficient, pleasant, and applied none of the traditional upcharge pressures commonly endured when renting a car. A+ experience!Reviewed Apr 24 2025

Make it very clear that the renter must bring the physical credit card they used to make the booking in order to make the deposit. I never use my physical card anymore and because I didn't have it, I could not use my booking. That sucked.Reviewed Apr 23 2025
