Renting with Hertz, Dollar, Firefly & Thrifty in Playa Del Carmen , is a huge scam and waist of time . The people in front of me, he tried to force them to pay 500$US extra for 4 days rental ! When it came to my turn, he said my premium car wasn’t available, there were economy cars available, but he wouldn’t give me that, because it was already reserved ! Basically if you pay a promo price online, they will no honor it, even if it’s on the Hertz website . Just a bunch of crooked people .Reviewed Jan 4 2025
