Completly unreliable and not trustworthy. We booked a car the night before and called half an hour before the scheduled pick-up only to arrive at Hertz where they told us that no cars were available.Reviewed Jan 15 2024

Would not honor rental cost - poor serviceCons:We arrived within the 2 hour pickup window clearly stated on the customer rental agreement. However, both the sales rep (and the manager) would not recognize our rate and were pushing us to pay $240 more for the 1 day rental. When we refused, they started bargaining - reducing it to $120 USD, then $85 as their "final offer." As a global brand, we expected Hertz to maintain it's quality - no matter its location. We were hoping to avoid such bad experiences like this by going with your company. We ended up just canceling the car for the day -- missing all the activities we already planned and booked for the day (losing that money and our valuable vacation time).Reviewed Jan 7 2017

False advertisingPros:The car was ok.Cons:Hertz staff are quite unprofessional, disrespectful and uninformed. Besides charging me almost twice as much due to out-of-the-blue fees (including "hotel fees," and a supposed sales tax of 64%, which was further taxed at the end), when I requested to talk with the manager, the sales person said he was needed at some other location, which was evidently false as I could confirm when I said I could wait. The manager refused to talk with us, notwithstanding the fact that he was there the whole time. By the time we left having paid an excess of 40 dollars, the office was crowded with upset customers who Hertz staff were ignoring.Reviewed Jan 2 2017

No reservation found in their systemPros:They didn't find my reservation and wanted to charge me some Absurd amount per day for the rental so I went to another company.Cons:They were not able to find my reservation. So I used another company with better rates.Reviewed Sep 6 2016
