Picked up the first rental car on my lunch break and while on the way I noticed a massive vibration under acceleration at highway speeds. I had to make another trip back to the rental location and fill that car up with gas so I could pick up another one. The second one was nicer and the lady that helped me was amazing. While the second vehicle was nicer the roof leaked on me every day that it rained (4 out of 5 days). My left shoulder was constantly getting wet as a result. I was not happy about that and no one offered to do anything about it when I dropped it off so overall it was just ok almost a thumbs down.Reviewed Sep 8 2024

Hertz is the worst!!! I go out of my way to use any other rental company. Was given a car with a half tank (they gave me a hard time when I returned with 3/4 tank because I should have asked them to mark that in my record. Is it my job to do their jobs?). It also had low tire pressure that I had to fill up, the oil change light was on the whole time and the passenger seatbelt would not latch. I had sworn to stop using them and gave them one more shot, avoid Hertz at all costs. The worst company.Reviewed Dec 15 2021

Luckily, I had printed my reservation info. The Hertz agent said there was no record of my reservation. The car was mediocre and had a very creaky driver’s side door. There was no one to check the car before leaving the lot, so we just left.Reviewed Dec 7 2021

The car could have been in better shape. The backup camera was held in by tape and the windows hadn't been cleaned well (they were very hard to see out of). Otherwise, the car performed well and the experience was good.Reviewed Dec 6 2021

Cons:We were never able to get our vehicle. The rental counter closed at 8pm and our flight got in at 8:42pm. There was no night pick up, no notification that there would not be anyone at the counter. They didn’t leave the information with any of the other agencies who were all open. We ended up having to get a rental car from another agency. We were fortunate that someone from Dollar was able to help us but we had to pay for 2 cars and then I had to spend the next morning of my vacation contacting Hertz to try to get a refund. Absolute nightmare! If you have a rental coming in that day, you should probably have your rental counter staffed! So disappointed!Reviewed Apr 14 2021
