Cons:I was not given an option to decline insurance coverage not needed or wanted. My reservation would not have been honored and they would have declined car rental. I had 8 pieces of luggage and 94 and 92 year olds with me. I had no choice but to accept very expensive insurance, not needed as my credit card covers it. Also, no car available on location for me and I had to wait a full hour for the car. I was lied to, being told it was being cleaned. I walked over to the cleaning bay to check and no caravan was there. I asked again and was told it was a few more minutes while they finished cleaning it. I confronted them and explained there was no car there and to give me an honest answer. They finally said it was coming from a different location. They still had to clean it when it arrived. Pros:I did NOT like that I was not able to use the insurance I purchased through Kayak with this rental company. I WASTED MY MONEYCons:A whole lot. How about you don’t offer insurance when the rental company is not going to accept it, requiring you to purchase additional insurance.Reviewed Oct 1 2019

Pros:The car was niceCons:They did not honor the price that I booked with you guys, although I showed my confirmation for the booking they said I booked for a smaller size car (which was not true) we had car problems and got stranded with a broke down van, plus they stole some of our gas. Rip offPros:Nothing !Cons:I rented the car I was given a price online. I was to pay at pick up. Once I got to Mexico to pick up the car, Europcar try to charge my credit card $9,000 US Dollars for insurance protection. I declined it online because my credit card covers any theft or accidents. The gentleman at the rental place said that he needed me to send him my visas terms and conditions which I did. He then said he still needed to place a hold. Because of the large amount the bank placed a fraud alert, and shortly after he attempted to run my card for the $9,000 US dollars I saw that they had a sign in Spanish that read that if you purchase insurance with them then there would be a $5,000 Mexican pesos hold on the card. In the end because of the fraud alert and such they ended up placing the insurance I left a $700 US dollar deposit and upon return I was charged almost $200 US dollars for the vehicle which I only rented for 2 1/2 days. They overcharged me, my initial quote was for $70 US dollars. I am extremely dissatisfied. The only good news is that I called my credit card company and explained the situation and they will submit a claim so that I only pay my quoted amount. Locals told me that yes I was ripped off and that next time I should pay ahead of time rather than waiting to pay at pick up.Reviewed Jul 16 2018

I had the worst service and i got the worst car, it smelled awful on tCons:I had the worst service and i got the worst car, it smelled awful on the inside and it was so dirty and it wouldnt run more then 40 km. I was also given the car with an empty tank in a city that i dont know and i didnt have any nearby gas stations. With the conversión of dollars to pesos i could have gone to a junk car place instead and gotten a car of better conditions. Lastly, i do not understand how RentCars can have such a nasty company like Eurocars. I am extremly disappointed that i spent my money for such poor service and experience.Reviewed Jun 7 2018

Did not honor reservation price. Tried to scam for a lot more!Pros:Nothing. I left without the car.Cons:Iended up leaving without the car. They did not honor my reservation and prepurchased insurance. They argied that Kayaks reservation was just a booking fee that was not shared with the rental agency and that they did not accept the prepurchased insurance. They wanted to charge 10 times more likely what I was quoted and I prepaid. This company is a horrible scam!Reviewed May 20 2018

Pros:NothingCons:Everything. Tried to charge me for a car I had already prepaid. Then the rate they quoted me was double what I had booked. They didn't care and didn't try to fix or check the mistake. They completely ignored me and went back to playing on their phone. Walked out and rented from another agency (much more credible, larger chain) for a much better price and WAY better service.Reviewed Feb 19 2018
