They gave us an old car with a spent battery. The battery died and they took 2.5h to send someone to jump it, and they would not send us a replacement vehicle. While on vacation, we had to drive back to the airport to get a replacement. Terrible experience.Reviewed Aug 4 2024

The representative was nice, accommodating and helpful to those stranded. However, he did not mention the car we rented was an upgraded vehicle. The cost was high. Had we known we would not have rented from them. Secondly, you are nearly forced into renting an EV car , if you opt not to, then a gas car is now considered an upgrade.Reviewed Jul 27 2024

Fantastic, easy, reasonable price! We got stuck in the Atlanta airport after a delayed flight caused us to miss our connection. We realized it would be faster to rent a car and drive to Orlando than to wait 12 hours for the next available flight. At the last minute we booked a vehicle and we were surprised when we were given a brand new Mercedes with only 8 miles on it! Our experience with Dollar made our abysmal travel day much more enjoyable. Quick booking, quick check in process, quick pick up, and quick drop off. The cost of the rental equals about what we will be refunded for our cancelled flights. Truly this experience could not have been better. Thank you!Reviewed Jun 28 2024

They had NO cars. I got to counter and they said it would be a 3-4 hr wait unless I wanted to pay for a SUV. And they werent going to comp the price, Inwiuld have to pay $75 more. Also because I was paying with debit they wanted to take the deposit, of course, AND run a credit check! All because the only car they had left was a suv! I never did get rental becuase others were out also and turns out the were out day before as well. They should have cancelled my res so I knew to book elsewhere. I booked more than a month in advance for SUV but was not told until heading to the lot to receive the vehicle that Dollar had not had SUVs to rent for about two days. And because they are the only Dollar in the state there is not another location to search. Dollar’s practices are deceptive. I will not be renting from them again.Reviewed Dec 28 2023
