Staff were friendly. Car was great. Good value. Easy pickup and drop off. The only thing we had difficulty with was trying to see if we could change drop-off locations. We could not get in touch with anyone directly, other than a calling service who only was able to leave a message. We never did hear back on that, but it all worked out anyway.

Cons:

I got a rental with crumbs in the cup holder, a face mask between the seat and console, 3 gallons of gas, and a tire with low pressure. I filled the tire with air when I got gas. Later on my trip the tire went flat, had to get road side assistance. Was told I could swap out my car since it was on the donut but apparently I had to do the work myself to find a location that had an available car to do that. There were none available. Eventually an Enterprise associate told me I could take it to Firestone. So I had to waste my time getting their car fixed.

Cons:

The rental was not at the airport - it was located in downtown. That is the only reason it was cheaper. I did not rent the car because I was going to downtown - so I took a cab. I suspect the location was given but I think you need to make more of an effort to disclose that the rentals are not located at the airport. BIG LETTERS IN RED would be helpful to inform people that they need to take a cab ride to pick up their rental.

Excellent service. Would not recommend renting EVs in general unless you have a dedicated place to charge. If you’re renting a vehicle for vacation I’d strongly recommend using a gas powered vehicle. Service at Hertz was amazing!

I rented a car, prepaid and made the check in, all ready for just pick up and go, but when I arrived to the office, they told me that I had my license banned/blocked for a non-payment in a past claim damage, when supposedly was paid for my insurance company. I was hurry for get the car, so I didn't have time for ask to my insurance company what happened. It took me a couple hours even pay, because nobody knows why I was banned.

It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a car rental company. We arrived at Salt Lake City Airport on 12-29-21. There was a large group of six so I had prepaid for a minivan a few weeks prior to be sure I would have a vehicle. When I got there I got a call from Jason at the Salt Lake City office who informed me that the minivans they had were still all out from previous renters. I had to cancel that rental and book 2 smaller vehicles at the airport through Alamo Rental which cost an extra $200 for me. Very dissatisfied with Hertz.

Pros:

It was a nice truck but getting an extension to the full week was impossible I am on my way back with the vehicle now and I feel I was very overcharged I have tried to call thim for two days and the res numbers do not match up .. they can’t even find the truck over the phone It looks like they’re gonna charge me about $600 for one week and on the paper it says 249 for one week

Communication over the phone could’ve been handled in a much better way

Cons:

At pick-up was told they did mot have my car. Tried to make me tske a csr that was ro small for our luggage to fit. A big hour long hastle. In the end they magically were able to give me the correct size car, which I had purposely reserved months in advance. Dont appreciate being lied yo snd wasting my time.

Pros:

The staff was amazing, I wish I got His name but he was super helpful, very efficient and super friendly.

Cons:

I think the cost could be more up front, I wasnt aware of the deposit. I know It was probably somewhere in the agreement, but other than that it was great.

Pros:

I ended up canceling the reservation the day I was to pick up the car and ended up using another company. The number given in the confirmation email to call once you land for shuttle service to pick up the car was no longer in service so I googled for a different number. That brought you to an automatic messaging instructing you to call the same number to arrange airport pick up. After about an hour of waiting unsure of whether or not any shuttle was coming I received a text saying someone would be by in about another hour to pick us up. By that point i had already canceled the reservation and booked with Avis and picked the car up at the airport, no shuttle necessary.

Cons:

The van was not a newer van it had 73k miles and the tires were scalloped so at highway speeds we were in a cement shaker. We called about 45 mins out for a trade and they declined to meet us. Anytime we called for pickup it required multiple attempts to reach someone and even though we gave an hour notice when we were returning the attendant was not at the office and we waited 10 mins for him because he did not receive the Multiple calls of our arrival It was useable van but a mediocre experience on all fronts but it was cheaper by $100 I would get a nicer van and pay the $100 more
