Pros (+) Complimentary umbrellas. Located across from the park -- beautiful view out our window! Excellent room service menu. Concierge helped us get a table at a popular restaurant that was "booked", and also got our tickets for the Freedom Trail. Window seat at breakfast was lovely. Bed was super comfortable with the best mattress and pillows I've had in a hotel in a while. Room temperature was perfect. ...
Cons (-) I wish the down comforter had been more substantial. Not surprising, but the food prices were over the top. The doors slam shut making it very loud when the "neighbors" come and go.

Cons (-) Mold in bathroom, dirty chandeliers in hallways. It could be lovely with a few cosmetic touches and upgrades. Outside staff more interested in talking to each other than greeting guests.

Cons (-) Accommodations were underwhelming for the high price. Also attempted to contact the Concierge 3 times to arrange a special birthday flower arrangement for my wife. They never called me back. THREE TIMES.
Pros (+) We had a room overlooking Public Garden and it was great. Nice view during the day and at night. Hotel is on Newbury Street and close to nice shopping, good restaurants, Beacon Hill - lots to do. Afternoon Tea is wonderful.

Pros (+) The proximity to the park was ideal for my 12 year old golden retriever. She loved all the attention she received in the lobby. The staff were very friendly and accommodating even during the holiday crush. Highly recommended.
