Pros:Staff friendly at pickup, staff friendly at dropoff.Cons:I opted for a convertible for a special weekend. Felt it was worth the $1,000. Well, turns out the Mazda X-5 had a cheap key fob and a security auto-lock system. My Florida cousins are all dealership folks. We had 5 guys trying to figure out this keyless entry while the Mazda idled in front of my cousin's house where I'd left one bag. Thank god his house is not on a busy street. Alamo 800 # rude, not helpful at all. AAA locksmith got it sorted out. I missed an entire day on the beach and worried my 80 year-old mother. For all thatstrees I was given a $50 discount on my $1,000 rental. Fine by me, I didn't want to talk about it at that point. 5 car dealers and a locksmith could not sort out this 10-cent key fob. We all know how the good ones work. This one was garbage. To Alamo, I would say, know your inventory. If you are aware that certain vehicles have peculiarities, such as a tricky keyless entry system, and a security lock-out system, then offer your loyal customers a 5-minute tutorial when they pick up.Reviewed Mar 9 2021
