Cons: There is a manager there by the name of Claudia Pucheu tryed to force me to get insurance I didn’t want by saying it was mandatory to get!! when I refused because a use Amex which covers me she got totally disrespectful even insulted me personally when I asked to see written policy to see where it says I had to get 3 rd party liability insurance she said she had nothing written that I would just have to believe what she said. Even spoke very bad to here co workers as she told them to just move away form her. In the end as she laughed she told me that’s the way things work around here!! Very dissatisfied would not recommend!! Very unprofessional I do not know how a company like Hertz would have someone like her representing them!!!
Pros: Lady helping me there was very helpful and truthful. She explained the charges were never obligated as previously explained at PUJ.
Cons: Although this lady knew I was not obligated to take such charges, and admitted I was lied to she couldn't do anything.
Pickup in Santiago
Pros: It was easy to get to and it was fast to pick up the car. They also offer a wifi hotspot instead of GPS which we loved. The whole two days we had the rental we had access to wifi to use google maps and to be connected to our family abroad.
Cons: There was an airport tax applied to our reservation that was not part of our original booking. It was about an extra $10 so it wasn't a big deal, but I would have preferred to know all associated fees upfront.

Cons: I booked online, it showed the total was $27 dollars, Samuel tells me i had to get a car insurance for $36 dollars, i thought he was joking since the rate to rent the car was a lot lower, there was nothing in the web that explained suck a thing, or they were gonna put a hold on my card of $800 dollars, take into consideration i had just started my vacations, this is the worst experience ever, ended up paying $64 dollars and a hold of $70 dollars. Another guy rented the same way, was supposed to pay $249 and with the insurance price went up to $460. #ridiculous
Don't buy the insurance from Kayak.

Cons: The car was advertized as a Chevrolet Tahoe, but when I revised my reservation in the hertz website, I was booked for a mid-size SUV. They upgraded me to the Ford Explorer because they didn't have anymore midsize SUVs. The condition of the car was, by far, the worst I have rented. The car was scratched and dented. There were parts missing inside the car and the front end of the car made noise when turning on curbs. Over all, the car did the job to get us around, just not worth the price. I paid for the insurance through kayak and was told at the counter that they did not care about that insurance. They made me pay $50 PER DAY for the insurance through hertz. This was by far the worst experience with a car rental.
