Rent at the airport was not actually at the airport. 1.5 hour wait on the line to rent the car in a hot room. Water available, but no cups for water, even when asked for. Forced sale for extra insurance. When returning the car, old dents and scratches were claimed new. Thankfully I had a video of all details when rented the car. People in Costa Rica are very nice in general. That is why I believe bad elements to be systematic for car rental business.Reviewed Mar 26 2025

Waited over an hour and a half for car pickup even tho there were 6 resos ahead of us. Agents tried very hard to upsell all the insurance they could, creating an even longer pick up experience.
