Driving in Umbria is generally fine to do. There is a 0.5 g/l alcohol limit for drinking and driving in Italy, but this is actually set at 0.00 for drivers who have held their licence for less than 3 years. Drivers that are not from the EU or EEA are required to show an International Driver’s Permit to be able to legally drive in Italy.
