We were told that we would have an odd numbered plate, which worked well for us because of the driving we needed to do on a particular day. I had serious difficulty finding the location to drop off the car. In fact, it was closed although Alamo claims to be opened 24 hours. I managed to leave the car at the designated place and have the clerk at the desk arrange for the checkup. I did make my flight, but it was a stressful experience. Pick up took an Hour! Although this was due to their not being able to process American Express that day - not really their fault - it was their banks's. At least the representative provided options. The car was advertised on kayak as a manual transmission but I received an automatic ... which was a little disappointing as a was looking forward to driving a stick shift ... but probably it was more practical in the end. If you are thinking of driving in Lima ... the guidebooks are Right! DON'T DO IT! Craziest drivers Ever!... at least get the insurance. Thankfully nothing happened to us.9.2 Wonderful

We've booked the cheapest car but for it you should leave 5000$ frozen if you're not 26. We did not find that info on the web site. So we end up on more expensive rental. The car that we rented was very sensitive to noise. If the noise was really loud the alarm enabled. Otherwise car was perfect.Sixt

The customer service was not good I feel like the front desk person was no to happy to see me I feel bad at that time he was rushing me did not explain clear to me the contract and insurance coverage I told him I wanted the $11.00 collision coverage was offered by Budget but he give me other coverage I believe personal coverage I had small accident a hit and run cause a scrash and bumper was pulled a little the hit was at the passenger side fender I called the airport Budget office the phone number I was provided two ladies answered my phone call the second person she said that she was on charge of the office she said that I had treated because I told her that the amount of $1275.58 was too much for the car damage and I was going to call my credit card sbout that after that she start speaking to me very loud and telling me that I was treated her she explain me the coverage for injure not for collision and told me to be quiet at the end she hang me the phone call.2.0 Poor

Rental price was only a 'base price' in which local taxes were added. In addition the car reserved was not available (they overbooked) and the upgrade to another car was not free. In the end more than double the price of the original rental agreement was demanded and the staff at the airport were not helpful or accommodating, borderline rude.2.0 Poor
