We were told that we would have an odd numbered plate, which worked well for us because of the driving we needed to do on a particular day. The customer service was not good I feel like the front desk person was no to happy to see me I feel bad at that time he was rushing me did not explain clear to me the contract and insurance coverage I told him I wanted the $11.00 collision coverage was offered by Budget but he give me other coverage I believe personal coverage I had small accident a hit and run cause a scrash and bumper was pulled a little the hit was at the passenger side fender I called the airport Budget office the phone number I was provided two ladies answered my phone call the second person she said that she was on charge of the office she said that I had treated because I told her that the amount of $1275.58 was too much for the car damage and I was going to call my credit card sbout that after that she start speaking to me very loud and telling me that I was treated her she explain me the coverage for injure not for collision and told me to be quiet at the end she hang me the phone call.2.0 Poor

Rental price was only a 'base price' in which local taxes were added. In addition the car reserved was not available (they overbooked) and the upgrade to another car was not free. the lack of communication with the avis office at the airport, well the office is not at the airport, is located at front of it, was a long walk and i was with my mother, she's 70 years old, the other big issue that i had was the i got the car insurance with you ( kayak and priceline ) and because of that they had to put a hold on my credit card of $5,000 because for them i didn't have insurance cause i was doing the insurance with you guys a third party. overall you shouldn't sell them like they are locate at the airport cause they don't and do something about the car insurance policy, really disappointed.5.6 Fair

Liked absolutely nothing. Avis customer service was no help. They said that it’s not really Avis in Peru, so they can’t do anything about it. So, nothing really good about it.Cons:
When we arrived they took a few minutes, and told us that they didn’t have our car. Then they would do nothing about it. To top it off, they haven’t refunded our reservation, even though we had to go to another agency to get the SUV we needed. I ALWAYS rent through Enterprise, and I guess there is a reason. Avis was awful and absolutely no help. It was a bit more insulting since I had reserved the car seven months in advance. Don’t rent from Avis.4.4 Mediocre

The customer service representative at the desk was very kind.Cons:
Upon arriving I waited 4 hours for the representative to arrive at the airport since the desk was not in the airport. Then the contract number was changed, and no contract in English was available, therefore the third party insurance was made void, and extra insurance had to be purchased from Sixt directly. The insurance wall not full coverage. During the rental period the car was slightly damaged by a hit an run. The manager said, over the phone, that this happens all the time in Peru and the insurance won't pay for it, so the Sixt insurance was useless and the third party insurance could not be applied because the contract number was changed. The manager said the third party insurance would be honoured by Sixt, but finally it wasn't. The overall experience was very poor and the manager did not keep his word.2.0 Poor
