Their kiosk was broken for self check so I had to commute quite far to another location for car, pay for bus tickets with no compensation. Then, when I there to drop off the car, the staff was incredibly rude. I simply asked to use the restroom that was for employees only and they said absolutely not, that I could walk to the nearest gas station 1 mile away.Reviewed Oct 2 2023

I tried to request a refund because the location did not exist. I tried many times to find it, had several people (locals) help me, and no one knew where it was. So, I had to use another agency, since I don't think the address listed was correct. I would really love a refund since I was unable to get my car.Reviewed Oct 28 2022

Pros:Everyone was very friendly and helpful.Cons:They were unable to give us the size car I had reserved and it was hard to find the drop-off point at Oslo Airport. That may not be Hertz's fault!Reviewed Aug 24 2019

HertzPros:Car was clean and comfortable, got us where we needed to go.Cons:The representative at Hertz uncharged me more than double what I initially paid, by claiming that I reserved an electric car and switching my reservation, even though my original rental agreement made no mention of electric vehicles. Booked 'Compact' series car, recieved electric due to no inventoryCons:Booked a compact series car for honeymoon. Arrived and was told I had booked a 'Green series compact (electric car)' (which clearly my confirmation proves is false). There was absolutely no inventory of gasoline vehicles at all (not even vans), and each local location told me there was nothing they could do and to call a different one. After wasting several hours on vacation trying to get assistance (had over 800 miles to drive, where there didn't exist any chargers for vehicle; electric was not possible to use), ended up booking a gasoline vehicle from a different company. Immediately returned car early, and was told I couldn't get any sort of refund. Ended up wasting a lot of time & money on a car which I did not book, when it was no mistake of my own. My booking was altered due to a lack of inventory, and I didn't get the car originally booked. Was told this was due to my mistake and was taken advantage of when I displayed proof of what was originally booked.Reviewed Jun 12 2018
