Driving in Grenada brings its own set of challenges when compared to driving in the UK. Similarly to Britain, driving is on the left. It’s worth noting that the petrol stations tend to be on the outer parts of the island, with there being very few inland.

The speed limits in Grenada change depending on the type of road you’re on. The speed limit in the presence of street lights is 30 mph (48 km/h). This reduces to about 20 mph (32 km/h) in towns and cities. On rural roads without street lights, the top speed you can do is 40mph (65 km/h). Whilst there are only a few speed limit signs on this island, you must use common sense when driving and not exceed the speed limits listed above, or you risk being prosecuted by the police.
