Cons: Reservation was canceled when I arrived to Fairbanks, AK. They didn’t help accommodate to get another car or any other suggestions. Their only response was sorry we don’t have anymore cars. I had made the reservation a little over a month and half ago.
My wife and I had to wait almost an hour to book a taxi, no Lyft or Uber available. Taxis telephone numbers didn’t work, we got lucky with a taxi dropping some ppl off that we were able to use him for the ride to our AirBnB then having to use him again for the activities we had planned.
$230 dollars a one way trip to the Chena Hot Springs and $210 dollars for the way back, when my rental was around $250 for my days there.
Bad communication and customer service.
Pros: Easy, nice vehicle, no issues.
Cons: Nothing. I suppose if I had encountered a problem, that would have put Enterprise to the test, seeing how they handled it.
Pros: Reservations were quick and simple. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient!
Cons: When I went there, the rental company said that we don’t have a car for you. They were sold out even though I had made my reservation months early. I had to go to another rental company because of this and had to pay significantly higher cost
Pros: My representative seemed concerned for my safety and explained all of the pros and cons of insurance packages and car upgrades for me.
Cons: I wasn’t informed about how drop off should work. It snowed heavily and there were no cars in the lot but a small plow was clearing the snow. Luckily the plow driver knew what I should do, so I parked the car in an adjacent lot and had to walk back through thick snow to turn in the keys. It would’ve been nice if I knew about any snow day related drop off issues, especially in an area like Fairbanks in winter
Superb experience from Fairbanks Enterprise
Pros: Fast, easy, great customer service. No cars available in the class I had reserved. Free upgrade to 4x4 truck which gave great peace of mind going to and from Chena as well as our remote rental cabin. Simple pick up and drop off. Came with extension cord for block heater. Life saver in cold winter temps. 10/10 would rent again.

Pros: The customer service agent was friendly polite and efficient at his job. He got me a car quickly and I was in my car within minutes .
Cons: Don’t change a thing. You guys were awesome!

The counter closes at midnight!
Pros: Arrived late to find the counter closed. There was a 4 people who had paid for the rental through a third party and had no way to pick up the car. The employees at the other car rental agency's informed us this happens every night. Had to rent a car from another company. I am letting my place of employment work out the issue with paying for a car that was not available for pick up. They knew the plane was late the counter is located in a small airport with two baggage claims. The ticket counter is located by the baggage claim. Someone could have waited the 15 extra minutes to help costumers who had pre paid for a car.
