Clerk did not explain the insurance policy at all and we ended up paying double for the rental because they did not allow us to use our credit card insurance. Really bad experience.Reviewed Dec 29 2024

This was a Hertz/Dollar combo place so keep that in mind but that is how it goes at the PVR airport. I was coerced very strongly to buy additional insurance even though I already had adequate coverage for what is required. The rental price shown at the counter was higher than booking by $30 or so and attempts to demonstrate were summarily ignored.Reviewed Jan 9 2024

Car was fine. I asked for third party liability only and only noticed later that they had added another insurance for $280 pesos a day for theft which I did not request.Reviewed Jan 8 2024

Cons:Despite the fact that I had made a reservation for a vehicle, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle I was informed that they did not have any cars available for me and they could not estimate when a car would be available nor could they help me to locate another vehicle to rent. I will never rent from Dollar again.Reviewed Jan 5 2021
