Over the Top Refil Price and MorePros: The base price was very reasonable.Cons: It took at least 45 minutes for me to pickup the car. There were four people ahead of my in line and only one person working the counter. The car was filthy on the outside when we picked it up. It was a hard blue car with road salt completely covering the sides and side windows. The steering wheel had some brown sticky substance on it. I was planning on returning it with a full tank, so when I picked the car up I told them that. I thought I remembered a gas station close to the airport, but apparently it wasn’t where I remembered. We didn’t ace enough time to go out of our way (traveling with a young child was partly to blame) and I dropped it off and told them. I had used just over half a tank and was charged $75 to refill the tank to full. Very frustrated overall and was finally charged a lot more than I expected for a dirty product and my fault if not returning it with gas.

Never rent from BudgetPros: Drop off was a breezeCons: To start off when I picked the van up it was parked in a dark garage between two huge vans we almost couldn't get in, but in order to leave the garage you have to sign a paper stating there's no damage to the car... you can't see anything in a dark garage! Next the van smelled awful, no floor mats, the passenger side between the seats had all kinds of food in it, and last the side automatic doors didn't work. Once I got home and we were packing up the van we noticed a giant strach on the side, along with damage to the front, which I didn't see in the DARK garage. We drove from Ohio to Florida over 1,000 miles, on our way home about 3 hrs into our trip we blew a tire. Got off the highway and called roadside assistance, they sent out a repair company which took an 1 1/2 to show up, then 30 minutes to change it, and the spare he put on was about the size of a cheerio, then we had to stuff the blown tire into the van with our stuff, we were told we had to take it with us. So I call roadside again, because I don't feel comfortable driving this van with 4 kids and all of our stuff over 1,000 miles back home on this tiny spare. Budget tells us to just trade it in at any location for a new rental. We did find a place to trade it in, that was an hour out of the way, then transferring 4 kids and a ton of luggage to another van in the 110 degree Florida heat is always fun. So all this time wasted caused us to miss the return time for the rent a car and we were charged 120 bucks to add an additional day which Budget would not removed the charge. Are you freaking kidding me!! Never ever ever will we rent from Budget again. Awful, Awful, Awful!!!

Pros: Price and the in-terminal pickup and dropoff.Cons: In the middle of winter, with very cold weather, and a recent snowstorm, and icing of windows every night, it was no place to be without an ice scraper. There was no scraper in the car. None in the backseat and none in the trunk. It was not nice using a credit card to clean the windows off every day.

Cons: When picking up my rental, I, along with several other customers who reserved and even pre-paid for the rental car were told that they didn't have any cars left and didn't know when they were going to get more since it was dependent on the return of other cars. I couldn't afford to wait indefinitely so I went to Hertz. I got a car right away.
