Where are the best places to park in Mendoza?
Parking in central Mendoza is divided into two main time zones. The first is from 08:00 to 13:00; the second is from 16:00 to 21:00. During these times, you'll pay a small fee per half hour for parking. Simply look for any green-coloured parking bay next to the footpath and park. These zones are marked by a blue sign bearing the word "Estacionamiento". An attendant wearing either a yellow, green or blue identification shirt will then sell you a parking card, and you pay them the required fee when you return to your car to leave. There are plenty of these zones, so it's very unlikely that you won't find somewhere convenient to park.

The car was filthy when we picked it up. Worse, the shocks were gone, alignment bad, passenger door lock did not work. Car was delivered with no windshield washer fluid. Tires nearly bald. I have NEVER had such a poor experience with any car rental agency anywhere in the world.10.0 Wonderful

First two cars had bald tires. One we got had poor tires. We had a blowout and a flat. We had to buy a brand new tire. It was difficult to arrange repair. They were no help. This was our rental in Mendoza.5.2 Fair

The car was lower quality than expected. There was no power steering and the tires were almost bald. When we returned the car we were surprised by a $31 airport tax that had not been described by kayak or by the rental company until we were trying to drop off the car. Gracious rental staff, despite working out of a cramped cubbyhole with near zero counter space. Car endured 200km of Mendozas scrappy gravel highway 40 without breakdown or flat. No hardsell on insurance.Cons:

Pros:
No one answered the phone when I called about 6 times during operating hours to confirm the reservation. I went to the office and it was open with no customers and he said that he couldn't answer because it was so busy. All in all it was better than other rental companies I have used in Argentina. It was cheaper, although still expensive by other country's standards, but they did not make up some reason for me to pay more when I returned it like others have done. It is hard to find a good rental company here, so this one is mediocre but still better than others.Cactus Rent A Car
