I had a pretty frustrating experience with Budget. The pickup process was extremely slow—it took about 30 minutes to get my car, even though there were only two people ahead of me in line. That felt unnecessary and poorly managed. Drop-off wasn’t any better. The location was confusing and not clearly marked, which made returning the vehicle more stressful than it should have been. To make matters worse, I was charged $22.06 for gas even though I made sure to fill up the tank right before returning the car. That was really disappointing and felt unfair. Overall, not a great experience. I’d think twice before renting from Budget again.Reviewed Apr 28 2026

This is the worst counter for car rental. I waited over 2 hours in a long line of about 25-30 people to finally get my rental car which was supposed to be a mid size SUV and was a cross-over size. The employees working had zero sense of urgency and zero customer service skills. In fact a customer asked what the hold up was and both employees responded rudely and one threatened to walk out and then no one would get their vehicles and called all the customers rude.Reviewed Apr 3 2026

They made me take an electric car, which was extremely awful. They told me that you could fill the battery up with the same amount of time as filling up a gas tank, which is not true. You have to download apps just to find places we ended up at the police station and wasted five hours While the police tried to help us fill up our battery. It was extremely stressful and I would never ever rent one like that again, and I was very upset that we were forced into that.Reviewed Dec 28 2025

Checking in was a bit ghetto with one of the counter persons squallering with her kids on the phone. I was the only one in line but the counter person decided to call her kids first and have a loud conversation on what was to be cleaned before any snacks. The car made noises as thought it had poor maintenance and was not going to reliably make it to where we wanted to go. Not all the electronics worked/worked properly. The pick up experience took a very long time the workers were very slow and were not happy or particularly kind. Overall bad experience can not think of anything positive.Reviewed Mar 31 2025
