Beware if it is a Holiday!Pros:Location was close to place I was staying.Cons:I know pickup was on July 4th. But was traveling from Missouri to Arkansas on that day. I did not receive a call or email from Avis stating that they would be closing early on the 4th. Otherwise I would have left MS earlier to make it to AVIS by noon. We called customer service to see if there was another pick up location that was open. It was at an airport 2 hrs away and they wanted to charge us $150 more. Thank goodness my flight was not until the afternoon on the 5th, which allowed me to pick it up early that morning before traveling to Oklahoma. I was not happy! CS was not helpful either as far as problem solving.Reviewed Jul 18 2017

Hidden tax!Pros:Nothing at allCons:Hidden sales tax of 22.5%. Not in Kayak quote and according to my research not the law in Arkansas. Tried to resolve over the phone and Avis rep totally useless. Second bad experience in a row with Avis. Never again!Reviewed Nov 1 2016

If price is the factor, this is your carPros:Basically I liked the car, and the price was good.Cons:You get what you pay for, this was the cheapest car available, but it had nothing except air conditioning. It would have been great had the car had cruise control.Reviewed Aug 26 2016

PoorCons:My rental ended up costing waaaaay more than originally quoted. I travel ever week and the ONE time I use a personal card to pay for a trip it is 3 or 4x the original cost.Reviewed Apr 27 2016
