We had our rental booked the Alamo. On arrival, we were told that due to an issue they didn’t have a car for us (we had requested a mid size SUV - KIA sportage or similar and while we were waiting we saw another customer from Alamo get one). They said that since they didn’t have one they are working with their partners to honor our rate and give us a similar car. I expected a similarly well renowned company - enterprise, budget, hertz. Instead they took us over to one of the local car rentals and got us a SUV with 103K miles on it, poor car alignment, and the check engine light on “which was the case for all the cars”. Ultimately the car served it’s purpose but that was a disappointing experience and the car we got was definitely not worth the price we paid.Reviewed Dec 13 2023
