Pros (+) The hotel was in a perfect location to visit Penn State Campus. The restaurant located inside, Mad Mex, was very good and service was great. Pros (+) I loved the simple gesture of providing everyone in our party with a bottle of cold water upon check-in. Little low cost thing but much better than the hotel gouging us $4.00 per in our room. This of course wouldn't have meant anything without a clean room but everything we expected of the room was on point. Definitely will stay there again

Pros (+) Very close to campus and town. Easy walking distance to everything. Easy parking and friendly staff.

Cons (-) There were barking dogs on our floor. We do not stay in pet friendly hotels for this very reason. The fact that it was NOT clearly advertised to be pet friendly up front caused us to waste time and money on a day w a 15hour drive..we ended up doing in one day. we were reimbursed for half the room rate...better than no refund at all. The days inn staff were understanding

Pros (+) The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and very professional. The adjacent Mad Mex is better than the average hotel restaurant, and you can't beat the location if you want to be on campus in about two minutes (on foot).
Cons (-) Parking's a bit pricey, but it's a godsend in a busy town where parking's at a premium.
