I booked a three day car rental in Israel. The estimated cost was $177 on the reservation. Although my reservation provided for unlimited miles, they tried to limit my miles. I argued with them and they changed it to the contract terms. I picked the car up at 9 am. The clerk told me to be sure and return the vehicle by 10 am or they would charge me an extra day. "Don't be one minute late." So I wasn't. I dropped the car off as provided in my contract (a location other than where I picked it up). I dropped it off at 9 am after two days. They charged me a previously undisclosed $120 for the different location drop off. This was not in my reservation and was not in the contract that I got when I picked up the vehicle. There is no email for Sixt that is available. My attempts to get them to credit that charge back to my card were unsuccessful. Returned the car a day early, still charged for three days plus the ripoff drop off charge that was no where in the agreement.Reviewed Oct 4 2022

I booked an intermediate and they insisted on giving me a Compact car. Their car level scale (letters such as D, E, F) is different from the one used in Kayak (mini, compact, intermediate). Had to wait more than 90 mins on pick-up until they gave me a car with a decent size trunk.Reviewed Aug 20 2022

Pros:I was agreed via your app on some price. But i was extremely surprised when the real price, was a) different B) not final c) 3 times higher than i ordered via Kayak D) price wasn’t complete! So i didn’t rent the car at these totaly not pro customer condition!Cons:The price should be always final/total price! Be everybody careful!Reviewed Feb 16 2020

Cons:Staff at Sixt in Eilat was unhelpful and not friendly at all. Returned the car to the same garage where I picked it up but was asked to bring it to the front door. Insurance policy was completely unclear. I read the T&C's, which were ambiguous. Contacted Priciline's support (via online chat full of bugs) for clarity but they didn't have any more details either.Reviewed Feb 13 2020

Pros:Check-in was OK. But the lady at the front desk didn't inform me that there is a km limit on the car (she wasn't even aware of it ;| ).Cons:My car wasn't checked properly before giving it to me and my front registration plate just fell off during my ride around the country. That's outrageous. I was lucky that someone told me I had no plate - we had to do a U-turn and look for it on the road for some kilometers. Luckily I found it and luckily I found someone with tools to fix it for me. When I returned the car, the staff was rude and didn't acknowledge that it was their duty to check if the car is ready for the road.Reviewed Dec 17 2019

Cons:As the company charged me twice more than should. I am highly unsatisfied with this experience. Would be glad if someone will contact me and try to help getting my money back, as Sixt is willing to accept only half of the claim.Reviewed Nov 20 2019

Pros:the staff at the counter was prompt, but although I said I did not want additional insurance, he tried to sell my full insurance saying the card was rejected for insufficient funds.
