Pros (+) Inexpensive, great location, free all-you-can-drink coffee machine with good lattes, helpful front door staff, easy come and go, sink in bedroom
Cons (-) A bit shabby, lamp was brocken, carpet old, bathroom and shower down the hall and had to bring key card to not get locked out of room.
Pros (+) Affordable, proximity to Haight-Ashbury and Alamo Park. Our room had a great view of the city.
Cons (-) Noise was definitely an issue, no sound protection from neighbouring rooms - the people in the room next to us were talking throughout the night (until 6am!!) and kept us awake All night

Pros (+) staff were incredibly helpful and surprisingly flexible. i had a few issues with my schedule that were completely my fault and they were more than accommodating. coffee was great, rooms were modest , prices were fare. i would certainly stay again.
Cons (-) front side rooms get a lot of street noise, but that's hardly a fault for being in such a large city
Pros (+) Great location and that's about the only plus. I'm not sure the room my boyfriend and I stayed in had ever been cleaned. The sink was clogged with someone else's hair and I ended up using their towels to dust the room myself.
Pros (+) The staff were all great ...... very helpful. The location is excellent. Away from the tourist area but within walking distance to tourist spots. Pros (+) If you're a traveler on a budget and you're more concerned about the sights and sounds, this hotel is for you.
Cons (-) Bring slippers if you don't like dank bathroom floors. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The ventilation isn't good. The walls are thin too, so you probably shouldn't have sex here. Just saying.
